Ranking Shadow and Bone ships by how much they manage to make me like them:
7. Nina x Matthias - I have made my opinion on this couple clear, I shall say no more
6. Zoya x Nikolai - nothing has happened yet I just heard they get together in the books so they probably will in the show, and since I love Zoya and am unimpressed with Nikolai, I do not endorse this
5. Jesper x Wylan - got together a little too quickly for my taste, also something about Wylanâs uwu wide-eyed look he always has kind of annoys me so I donât really care for them.
4. Nadia x Tamar - I want to love the lesbians but frankly these two characters were so irrelevant they could have been removed entirely and almost nothing would need to be changed. Their relationship was literally an after thought. Still cute tho
3. Mal x Alina - I liked them more in season 1, didnât really care about either of them together or individually past the first episode of season two (also it was so funny how the writers kept getting rid of Mal bc they needed him gone for certain moments, and then just brought him back easily the next scene with zero explanation. Like he was kidnapped by the army for being a deserter and then two scenes later heâs back bc he just escaped off screen! It was so fast you might as well just said he was in the bathroom or something)
2. Inej x Kaz- tbh I barely have a single feeling or thought about these two. Only higher than Nadia and Tamar bc they got real screen time. I want to like them more than I do, I think I just canât get past Kazâs whole deal and take him seriously.
1. Genya x David - didnât give a single fuck about them in season 1 but season two I just wanted them to be happy đ please give Genya a break, Iâm begging
