Same same, but different.

Det är sista dagen för oss här på Sint Maarten. Vi vuxna tycker att det är lite tråkigare att åka hem än barnen, både för dem och oss väntar ju mer än bara kyla hemma. På gott och ont.

Just hemma har vi annars känt oss här. Det är första gången som vi hyr en villa och det passade oss väldigt bra. Tiden har gått lite långsammare eftersom vi tillbringat mycket tid här på terrassen och dessutom har vi vaknat förtvivlat tidigt. Det är ovanligt för oss, men det har gjort att dygnen har räckt ovanligt länge.

Det slår oss att det här boendet påminner lite om det i Krokslätt. Den fjärrstyrda grinden. En kompakt samfällighet. Kombinerat kök och vardagsrum. Stora terrasser och poolen (även om vi disponerade den här helt själva). Och så vidare.

När vi köpte huset på Toltorps terrass sa mäklaren som sålde vår lägenhet: “Ah, det där all-inclusiveområdet!” Och det är väl det som gör vårt vanliga hem så speciellt. Vi önskar bara att det delar av året inte låg i Mölndal, utan på varmare breddgrader. Då är det tur att hemma kan finnas någonstans med. Som här på Dawn beach. Åtminstone för en vecka.
