{prompt} ruby is worried, dawn her best friend from home is coming for a visit which should be a good thing but she is brining her boyfriend [[ throw away oc or any hated male you don't like ]] which is not, he is controlling and abusive towards dawn and has no problems cheating on her, but dawn is so blinded by love she can't see that he is scum, ruby can only do one thing beg pyrrha to have jaune NTR dawn away from her scum of a boyfriend
"Ruby, I'm not going to cuck..." Jaune paused for a moment, "Who even uses that word?" Shaking his head to break the moment, he turned back to his first friend, "I'm not going to cuck anyone Ruby... I just... that's not right."
Jaune truly felt that cheating wasn't worth it, that being the one to instigate someone else to cheat, wasn't worth it. At the very least it wasn't worth the guilt he'd feel for doing it.
"Jaune please! Dawn's my best friend and... and she needs someone!"
"She has a boyfriend though."
"That's the problem!"
Ruby huffed, her cheeks pouting as she stared her best friend eye to eye. She'd managed to convince Pyrrha into helping, who went along with it almost too quickly but... but... this wasn't... she knew Jaune had a good heart. He meant well, but Dawn was in so much trouble, her boyfriend was the worst! A bastard of epic proportions! She needed someone kindhearted! Someone who wouldn't cheat on her on a whim.
"Dawn's my bestie outside of Beacon! She's been with me ever since Patch was... was..."
"Ruby..."
"No... no I'm fine." She held back a tear, "She's been with me since Patch was destroyed by that thing. And, she means well, but she's never had a father, never had someone so she's easily swayed and that means she's pulled by bad people! Her boyfriend is awful! He cheats on her, he hits her! She needs to move away from him, find someone nice, someone like you!"
Ruby meant it, Dawn was her best friend out of school, the two of them grew up together, being the only two girls of the same age and being the only friend from her previous school who still communicated with her, they were close as kin!
So when she was sent a message that she would be visiting, thankfully by herself, Ruby formulated a plan. Getting a call from her cousin Lucas, warning her about the situation, didn't hurt her motivations either.
"Why me? Sun's a good guy, you could probably get him... or even Ren."
"Yang would kill me! And I like Sun, but he's too wild, and he's too into Blake."
Jaune quirked his eyebrow, "Look I know how that sounds, but you've got a lot of love! Isn't your family polyamorous?"
"Yes..."
"So come on!"
"Ruby I don't..."
Ruby's phone dinged, "Sorry give me a se-"
her voice died in her throat as she pulled up the message from her cousin. On it was a video attachment of Dawn getting slapped by her frustrated boyfriend before she boarded the Bullhead to Beacon.
Jaune saw it, he saw it and felt a burning intensity within him bloom. He still remembered something similar happening to one of his own cousins, Brendan... a girl had played with his heart, toyed with him, and had even beaten him up a few times. If it hadn't been for his childhood friend May, things would have gotten worse.
Jaune... didn't like cheating... but helping a person in need of help? He could do that... and if he could convince her to leave with his kind words alone... "Okay."
"Okay?"
Jaune nodded, "Yeah, okay I'll help."
"Thank you!"
Ruby pounced, knocking him over causing him to smile. Well, at least Ruby was happy... but Jaune didn't know the first thing about girls. What was he supposed to do?!
