Started watching Carmen Sandeigo a month ago.

Started season 4. Love this guy so much!

I finished the 3.5 quest and I’m so cerysilens pilled now they definitely put some special ingredients in both cerydra and hysilens to make me obsessed with them. So I thought I might scream here a bit since I remembered I have a tumblr account.

Obvious spoilers for hsr 3.5 quest. Lots of rambling ahead.

First, their meeting. The way Hysilens was so lost after having lost her home and being forced to the surface, and it was Cerydra who called out to her, noticed her swordsmanship, and hoped to form a relationship.

And Hysilens’ thoughts omg 😭😭😭 she basically latches onto the first sign of light and warmth (Cerydra), the first sign of succorance from her despair. And her only wish is simply to have a feast.

Can I just say that I was screaming?? She devotes herself entirely to Cerydra because she was the one who extended her hand forward, and Hysilens needed a purpose in her new life. And she latched onto it, clung to it for dear life.

THIS BROKE MEEE. “My fire is dead.” After sticking by and fully entrusting her loyalty to Cerydra, Hysilens is faced with an ultimatum, a shake in the faith. They have a mini divorce arc 😭😭😭 and then tragedy. Ah we love doomed yuri.

And then, the 1000 year vigil. Despite the pain, Hysilens remains guard over Cerydra’s grave, because no matter what, that was *her* Imperator, the one who became her light, who gave her many feasts.

In her lonely wait to pass the baton to the Trailblazer, she had little else to focus on. And so she entered a stagnant slumber where she dreamed of the before.

At the end of it all, we finally get to see Cerydra’s side as well. How she noticed the emptiness in Hysilens’ eyes in their first meeting, how she remembered their promise and used every resource she could to ensure Helektra could witness an ocean unmarred by corruption.

They were doomed from the very start, in every cycle, and it completely destroys me 😭😭😭 I’m not getting over them anytime soon I fear.
