disclosure (5b// ladrien)
am i going to have to make flashbacks to this date later? probably. (oh well.)
[ most recent ]
Ladybug is right where Cat Noir had left her: sitting pensively on a beam of the Eiffel Tower.
Adrien squints up at the tiny red figure and waves after a moment of hesitation. He wonders for an instant if maybe he should take off his hood— but then she waves back and disappears into the tower.
Minutes later, a girl comes striding toward him, red ribbons accentuating her pigtails. It takes Adrien a moment to recognize her, but then she tips down her huge sunglasses and winks one masked eye at him.
She is dressed a little heavily for the early autumn day, but she has had to cover up most of her transformation. All that is visible of Ladybug’s spots is a subtle sliver of red and black peeking out from under her black jacket and pants. (Part of Adrien is disappointed: he’d wondered if perhaps she would disguise her civilian self instead of coming as Ladybug.)
“Your style is impeccable, my L— er, Ladybug.”
Her ears redden. “Th-thank you, Adrien. You, too.”
He fiddles modestly with the golden zipper on his jacket— a last minute addition to his outfit to keep him from being recognized. “This is nothing.”
She extends her hand to him. “Shall we?”
Just enjoy yourself. Adrien takes a deep breath, smiles shakily at Ladybug, and takes her hand.

project 365 : storytelling : day 048
Lines and angles and squiggles marching across the pages in neat rows, but never at the same pace, leaving gaps among the ranks even as the files remain spaced the same. They manage to clump and chat, become cliquish and hang out, leaving meaning behind from their group presence, rather than the individual statements. Except for I and A, who like to stand alone or flirt with others: introverted but social, friendly.
Upon this foundation of ordered bricks, mortared with concepts from between the lines, dance bigger ideas that tug at our hearts /make us feel /stretch our minds.
