Zo runs his hands through Veronica’s hair...surprised for just one second that it’s actually real, and kisses her soft and slow.

Lorenzo: *pulls away* Can I show you the rest of the house now?

Veronica:  What else is there to see?

Lorenzo:  *chuckles at Veronica’s fake innocence* Girl, stop playing.

Zo turns and walks towards his bedroom and Veronica quickly follows; hoping that no one at the party notices.

Anitra joins Jamison and her cousins Jayla and Nadine in the living room. 

Jayla:  I can’t believe we’re actually in Lorenzo Tillman’s house!  And he’s actually family!

Nadine:  I know...everyone at school was so jealous when I told them.  I can’t believe you’re going to be living here Anitra.  You’re so lucky!

Anitra:  Yeah...I’m pretty excited about it. *leans over and whispers in Jamison’s ear* But I’m more excited about the huge bed in my bedroom.

Jamison is glad that he’s just brown enough that no one will notice that he’s blushing.

Meanwhile, Lorenzo works on some plans of his own...

Lorenzo:  So...are you ready to see the rest of the house?

Veronica:  Maybe later...*nods in Toni’s direction* is that your daughter’s mother?

Lorenzo:  Yeah

Veronica:  She’s pretty...just like your daughter. 

Lorenzo:  Thank you...I agree, but I’m more focussed on you right now.

Veronica:  What about me?

Zeton:  So...are you really okay with Anitra moving in?

Lorenzo:  We have never really discussed it, but I meant it when I told her that she’s welcomed here anytime and for as long as she wants to be here.

Zeton:  I know she’s a grown woman now...but take care of my baby.

Lorenzo:  Our baby. 

Zeton:  You know...Lorenzo, I’ve spent all this time being mad at you, but you have every right to be just as mad at me.  I hid a daughter from you all of these years.

Lorenzo:  I can understand why.  I mean...I wasn’t exactly in the best situation.  Who knows...maybe it was for the best.

Zeton:  Yeah, but it was still wrong and I’m sorry.

Lorenzo:  I’m sorry too!

Toni smiles...for the first time truly accepting his apology.

Lorenzo and his date spend some time talking and hugging.  Toni glances over and observes them.  She’s glad that Lorenzo is dating and moving on with his life like she has.  She really hopes that he finds happiness.

Toni lingers around for a bit.  Anitra walks over to her.

Anitra:  It means the world to me that you and daddy were here.

Zeton:  Me too...and I promise not be difficult when it comes to your father from now on.

Anitra: *gives Toni a big hug* I appreciate that mom!  

Zeton:  See you later?

Anitra:  Yeah...I’ll come by to get my stuff tomorrow.

Zeton:  Okay...have a good night! *walks away*

Veronica strolls confidently into Zo’s bedroom...and it doesn’t take much work for Zo to get her into his bed.

Toni walks over to talk to Anitra for a while.  Eventually, Lorenzo catches her alone.

Lorenzo:  So...are you enjoying the party?

Zeton:  *smiles* Surprisingly, I am.  I’ve never really been a party person. 

Lorenzo:  I sort of guessed that, but I really am glad you came.
