Happy National Day of Prayer and Reason!
May 2nd is the National Day of Prayer and the National Day of Reason, but as a Catholic who worships the Logos--ie the Word of God and Second Person of the Trinity also known as Jesus Christ--I think it’s weird to act like faith and reason are conflicted or opposed. They go together, so I say we cram the two days into one!
The author of the above is but one of many scientists who also believes in religion. He led the Human Genome Project and discusses how he sees God’s hand reflected in the intricacies of DNA. Neat!
