Remmick lowkey being kidnapped for a few years by the vampire who inspired the tales of Dracula, and being a glorified jester to his daughter because Abigail (Abigail) took a shine to him back in his early days
Here’s this itty bitty like. 12 year old girl who’s actually centuries older than him. who absolutely adores him. and it’s actually kind of nice for a while. she insists that he sings to her and he teaches her to dance, and it’s a little bit of the community he lacked
he parts ways with their crowd after a while, but crosses paths with Abigail centuries later and she calls him “young man” and they both get a kick out of being his elder when everyone else perceives otherwise
Point blank, most vampires are snobs and don’t like him. He’s ousted from coven life which like. fine. good riddance. he didn’t want to be a part of your stupid coven anyway 🙄
Remmick and Lestat (IWTV) have generational beef. They’re both horrendously mean about the other, and ragebait each other whenever they cross paths.
Lestat usually takes digs at Remmick scrounging by on stolen clothes and just generally viewing him as a lesser vampire or a mutt.
Remmick punches up, susses exactly what Lestat is insecure about and hits. It’s miraculous they haven’t killed each other
Remmick never meets Louis or Claudia but hears the rumours.
In a perfect world, Claudia and Abigail would’ve met. Abigail would’ve shown her that the curse, although awful, is not the end. That there’s still life to live. This is not, however, a perfect world.
Armand and Remmick actually never formed an opinion about each other. I think Remmick respects Armand’s game, but it isn’t quite mutual. Still, they bond a little over their mutual aggression about the matter or Lestat.
Daniel tries to logic circles around Remmick in an interview. Unfortunately, Remmick’s cult mentality has worked backwards on himself a little too well, and if he thought Louis was delusional? Remmick’s a headache.
Remmick hates HATES the vampires from Day Shift and Vampires vs. the Bronx. Are they very similar by proxy of The White Vampire pushes itself into a Black environment? Well, yes
But Remmick’s whole schtick is assimilation and community. These vamps aren’t trying to absorb these Black neighbourhoods into their own community, they’re trying to drive them out, replace them. Remmick ain’t fucking with that
He finds Seth real interesting though, because he’s someone who has accepted the gift/curse without assimilating into the hive mind of his creators, but he also continues to work for humans who have created a bureaucracy revolving around exterminating vamps and harvesting their teeth
He may or may not kidnap him
Remmick adopts Sammy (Abigail)— or Jessica. She keeps the name she died with, because Jessica was her “last life”. The irony is not lost upon him.
She found him through Abigail, not wanting to stay with her but needing a companion so she wouldn’t die out there. She ends up staying with him, his years of running from town to town turning folks over. They’re a coven of two
He came across Jerry (Fright Night) ages ago. The meeting was not memorable for either but neither enjoyed it
Speaking of Fright Night, Mark and Seth are lowkey twins, which is especially frightening when one is an annoying 17 year old jock and the other is a 30 year old basically-accountant.
Remmick definitely tried to adopt Eli (Let The Right One In). It did not work. He found them really interesting. Eli was perfectly content on their own.
When he was still in Europe, Remmick ran into the Van Heusens (Wizards of Waverly Place) while encroaching on their land. None of them trusted him. Remmick tried to charm his way through to Juliet. She did not buy it for a second.
