I discovered the best thing yesterday, which is that mynoise.net has a delay timer (at least, it does on the website, which I’ve tossed a few dollars at). Which means I don’t have to choose between an ASMR video and the sounds of rain on a tent (which I’ve tweaked for myself so it actually sounds like rain on a tent I’ve slept in a lot--a sound I loved falling asleep to when camping).

So yeah, yesterday morning I set it to start up around the time the ASMR video I was watching was gonna end. A+.

Don't take naps. Your brain will get greedy and make you sleep for 8 hours in the middle of the day and then when its 3 am and now you can't sleep amd everyone else has gone to bed.

woke up at 4:15 to take people to the airport so they could go to hawaii

it’s 6:15, i’m home and unable to fall back asleep

and not on my way to hawaii so really i lost this round
