Does anyone here use a daylight lamp? Not a wakeup light, but a daylight/SAD lamp? If so, could you tell me your reviews? Also in terms of how comfortable it is on the eyes, do you get overstimulated by the light, etc.

So...I got a weighted blanket as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend's family today and I'm-
This is so good?? Like I am lying underneath it right now, as I was a little anxious and it does wonders already?? I like the soft weighted down feeling it creates and how gently it wraps itself around your body.
See, I was a little cautious by all the praise they got thinking they would suffocate me or fuel my anxiety and panic just more vut no no, they do the exact opposite. it's such a calming sensation, makes me really sleepy to. (I'm already exited to fall asleep with it cus it seems like it could also possibly help witha better sleep at night and a less disrupted one as well.)
Another thing I got, for my winter depression by my boyfriend is a daylight lamp which I still have to try out a bit more to see results but so far I like that it's able to switch tones and brightness.
I really do ask myself right now what I did that justifies all those thoughtful presents. He and his family are just really good to me.

I have been sitting in front of this daylight lamp many mornings now, and I think it does help me. I am not as dark as I was. If I hadn't tried this out myself, I would probably say it was just bull. I also sleep better than I did, and I dream a lot. I have heard this daylight lamp can make all this happen. Yoga and meditation also do something with how you dream.
But anyway, I am checking in to say that I am not as blue as I was. It's sunnier in my head for sure, but maybe it doesn't last? I can be moody, and I don't want this blog to be all about me being sad and blue. I must not just blog when I feel down. How fun is that?
I think this autumn will be fine but I don't know that.
also got a daylight lamp from my friend. its really helps 💡
i got a daylight lamp today. and i realized i really am just a lizard who needs some sunlight to function
The Beaded Week 58
The Beaded Week 58
I made these earrings, inspired by this pin. While working with them I noticed that the headpins would get tangled up or they just flipped back and got stuck on the top part of the jumpring. So I figured that this would happen while wearing them aswell so I decided to fix them in place. To do this I used some gold K.O. thread and wove back and forth between the headpins a few times, tied a knot…

Choosing the Right Light II - Colour Temperature and Brightness
Choosing the Right Light II – Colour Temperature and Brightness
In the last post, I wrote about which lamps to avoid because of the toxic materials used inside them. In this post, I will give some advices on what to look for when you are looking for lights that are meant to serve as working lights in an artist environment (painter, illustrator, model maker – whereever the “right” perception of your colours is key). The colour temperature The colour…
