     she was sure he regretted agreeing to spend the day doing what it was she wanted to do. but for the sake of visiting a few more stores she would pretend that she didn’t. as she picked out the fourth pair of shoes for the worker to grab for her, watching as the woman disappeared in the back with a grand smile and giddy claps. “they’d just be prettier in blue don’t you think?” she questioned as she looped her arms around his bicep; resting her chin on his shoulders as she peered up to him. “i promise i won’t be too much longer, handsome. and then we’ll go get dinner. my treat. maybe that new pasta place. i hear they have prime valet parking, and well off vintage wine collection. y’know, for your old man taste buds.”

❛ don’t look at me like that. ❜ though, truthfully, they had ever right to look at her like they were more. she knows it’s not every day you come home to see a black haired figured sitting on your couch, watching your tv, and eating your food but she lived for doing things outside the box.  ❛ I needed somewhere to lie low...that private investigator is snooping around my apartment and this seemed like the best place to go. ❜ because she knew the passcode and she knew the person and she figured that they wouldn’t mind too much...or that she would be gone before they got back. whichever came first.

     this wasn’t a room she recognized. the sheets were a soft burgundy, and not the silk blue she’d come to rest her body in night after night. the walls weren’t covered in posters or tapestries, but canvases of art work she didn’t quite understand. she took a quick peak to ensure that her clothes were still on, but was met with a man’s t-shirt, and pajama pants that were much too big. “i’ve lost my mind...” she muttered to herself as she scrambled to find her phone in the sheets and quickly went to her most recent calls. yoseb 2:21am. the name pounded in her head, and as if on cue his frame walked through the door. “please tell me i didn’t..” didn’t say too much, didn’t allow herself to fall into his arms again, didn’t press her lips against his. the first time they had too much to drink and too much fun still replayed in her mind whenever she was least expecting. just the thought made her heart race, and she would do anything to make it stop. “we didn’t.. right?”

‘ YOONIE, CAN I –– CAN I ASK YOU a question ? ’ jaejin fumbles over his words shyly, too terrified to glance up from his textbooks that sprawled lazily across his dorm room floor as nervous fingers twiddle around his pencil. ‘ how did you ... you know, ’ he mumbles shyly, cheeks burning ember. ‘ how did you know you liked ... guys ? ’ it’s odd asking his lab partner this but the guilt had been eating jaejin up, yoonie was just so pretty and jaejin’s father had always warned him about temptations. ‘ have you ... have you ever –– kissed a man ? ’

           CLOSED starter for @daysblooming

        SHE ARRIVES AT THE EVENT with little to protect her from the cold weather — her manager waits at the end of the red carpet with a jacket for her, however — and is all but forced to grin and BEAR it before the cameras like the seasoned professional she is. attending launches and dinners between promotions and photoshoots aren’t exactly a highlight for marie, usually in the presence of few friends and  M A N Y  strangers in powerful positions, and this evening is no different; as polite as she may be, it’s a barrier to the slight discomfort this gives her — and the same likely goes for other artists like her. she’s quick to cover her arms, which are only covered by the thin sleeves of her dress, upon meeting her manager and is ushered into the building to escape the elements. there’s little time to recover amongst herself, now facing over one hundred attendees scattered about the open floor plan and hastily acknowledging those who welcome her close by; marie slips off the outerwear draped on her shoulders for her manager to hand off to a staffer, and slowly makes her way through the crowd to say hello. 

        IT’S NOT INTIMIDATION THAT UNNERVES her in such situations — or so she tells herself — but rather a lack of familiarity, of certainty. she’s sure that despite her star power, she’s seen as smaller or even  C U T E  to the select few guests from outside of the entertainment industry, and it’s not something she necessarily enjoys. this is when she really channels her bravado whilst playing the part of the pride of her company, a challenge her stubborn nature wholly approves of, thus she begins her pleasantries tour for the event — as she would call it. as the minutes pass from when she starts, the numbers begin to dwindle, of those she’s spoken to or merely acknowledged, so she thinks it’s as good of a time as any to regroup with a drink; she makes her way to the open bar for just a glass of water, her brown eyes scanning the path ahead in the process, when she spots a familiar face just several feet away. 

        MARIE IS QUICK TO DISMISS the beverage as something that can wait as her feet carry her in noeul’s direction. 

        “ HM, FANCY SEEING YOU HERE, ” she greets with a courteous smile, “ enjoying yourself ? ”

               " they all hate me , “  & by they she’s referring to few mean comments she’d managed to hone in on rather than the many much more nicer ones she’d skimmed past in the comments sections of the few articles written about the pair . she speaks with a constant pout present upon her sweet countenance , sinking back into the plush couch she’d recently furnished her new pad with .  “ they think i’m only with you for the money & they think you’re a creep but you’re only , what ?? six years older than me ?? yah ,  i’m rich enough already !! “  /  @daysblooming : x .

“You never told me what made you want to become a prosecutor.” Eunhee was curious. She had never really been a fan of lawyers, or anyone that worked in law enforcement, mostly because of her past concerning the law, but Suho was different. She could tell that he actually cared about making a difference and that he just wasn’t out to convict the first person he could get his hands on. “Watch a lot of crime shows while you were growing up or what?” She teased, a smile spreading across her face.
