One month in and Donut š© has made huge progress. His relaxation technique is up to 8.5. Not yet a lap cat but an occasional side cat. Curiosity is up to a 7.5 over fear which is down to 2.5. Still hiding occasionally, fearful of the stalky, hissing female next door but rubbing along pretty well with the other neighbourhood cats. More play-motivated than food, heās quite affectionate and seems to like human interaction. Dreadful start this morning Alessia is away for a few days for work. I was really pressed for time, putting out the bins, refreshing the cat litter &c and I hadnāt woken up til 7:20 after a poor nightās sleep. Anyhow, I was just about to leave so I went to check on Donut and I couldnāt find him! Heād vanishedā¦. I freaked out. I had been so careful I thought. I couldnāt believe it. Checked everywhere. Began to panic thinking he had somehow completely escaped the house. It was awful. Finally found him in the loft under the bed the little bastard. Heās do stealthy he managed to slip past me with minimal opportunity.
