Dazai, Atsushi and Oda at a bar.
Dazai: *to Oda* Do you think-
Oda: *hearing the question 5 seconds ahead in his head* No.
Dazai: *smiles from ear to ear*
Atsushi: *starts giggling*

(Please, forgive any mistaken because English isn’t my original language, I am really in an hurry now and I haven’t checked well)
Dazai still remembered the concern on Tanizaki's face when, after solving the case of the man hit by a truck, the funeral of the owner of the orphanage, which Atsushi came, was held. "There isn’t! I can’t find him anywhere! Dazai-san, please, go look for Atsushi, I'm really worried about him." Dazai sighed before warning the phone in his vibrating pocket. Pulling it out he read the message without batting an eyelid, as opposed to Tanizaki who immediately asked him if it had been the boy himself to send it to him. The man closed his cell phone, smiling, then patted the other on the back of some encouragement pat. "Do not worry, I'll go and bring it back here, okay?" Before leaving time to Tanizaki to say a single word he had already moved away. The message took him to a remote area near the port of Yokohama where there were only abandoned warehouses and factories: during the day that place was a desolate and uninhabited industrial neighborhood, at night it became one of the territories in possession of the Port Mafia. As Atsushi had arrived there he could not know, he had only assumed that his subordinate had walked up there to clear his mind and then find a place to rest. In fact, he found Atsushi sitting on the ground asleep against a wall. His cheeks were still furrowed by tears as well his lashes still wet, but what attracted the attention of the detective was the hand of Atsushi, lying on the ground and open up, where the cellphone was deliberately rested. Dazai bent down to take it in his hand and turned on the display to read the same message he received just an hour before. "Come and get back that stupid of his subordinate before night." he quoted accompanied by a description of the position. The man smiled and then turned his attention to the boy who was still asleep and unaware of everything. "Being able to soften even Akutagawa, you're really amazing, Atsushi-kun." He murmured, stretching out his hand and gently messing up those soft silvery hair.

DazAtsu Week 2019 Day1: Sunrise
First of all: English isn’t my nativity language so forgive any mistaken, please <3 I hope that you’ll apprecciate this brief text, then here we go :3
It was something that Atsushi always wanted to do, since he was a child. Get up early, before dawn, and wait for the latter to announce the arrival of the new day. He had not regretted having waited so long: the fiery red line that ran through the horizon of the ocean, fading into the amber of the sky, and reflecting on the surface of the water was the most breathtaking sight that Atsushi had ever seen in his life . The beauty of Yokohama, a port city, was so accentuated and gently caressed by the first rays of the sun that was about to be born. His hands, firmly anchored, accompanied the movement of his body further protruding from the balustrade. "But you look if it's not really Atsushi-kun that straight in front of me!" His eyes moved suddenly to the side, identifying Mr. Dazai's profile advancing towards him; the hands hidden in the pockets of the raincoat, the brown hair slightly misled, the collar of the shirt not exactly in order ... Everything seemed to suggest that ... "Mr. Dazai even tonight did not sleep in his bed, right?" From that accusation he only got a mocking smile. "Too perspicacious! You, on the contrary, you seem really rested, to the point where you got up so early to admire the dawn." He shifted his attention to the rising sun, which gave a warm and orange hue to all the surroundings. "It's beautiful, right? Is it not worth it to stay up all night, or get up so early, to see something so spectacular?" Atsushi did not answer, but limited himself to impress that scenario, straight ahead of him, in his mind: the sun was a flaming balloon that played in the water and that would be placed in the sky. Soon his attention turned to his mentor, motionless next to him. He certainly must not forget his tall, slender figure warmed by the sun's rays, combined with the golden reflections that sculpted his brown hair. "What are you saying? A day like this is perfect for tormenting Kunikida-kun a little, is not it?" Atsushi well hoped he misunderstood. "Dazai-san! A day like this is not made at all to go wrong from the beginning!" Disappointed by that response the older man realized something more obvious. "Then we could commit a double suicide together, mh?" Atsushi looked at him exasperated: it was really a hopeless case, from the early hours of the morning.
DazAtsu Week 2019 Day2: Trickster
Note of the Author: Again, English isn’t my nativity language, so, please, forgive any mistaken.
This flashfiction take place after the “Mysterious Bandage Man Event” of the mobile game Bungou Mayoi. However, it also can be read as an original.
Atsushi didn’t understand anything of what happened, he only had the impression that he was cheated.
"Then, I leave the rest of the work to you!"
He didn’t even have time to realize what happened before, with that band of traffickers, and already his superior was hopping away.
But he would not have run him so easily.
With a snap of his arm, Atsushi grabbed one of the edges of his senpai's raincoat and stopped him before he could leave and leave him in the lurch.
"I don’t think I understood exactly what happened ..."
The answer was only a mocking look.
"Ah, Atsushi-kun, I already told you: you have to look at your superiors, and the way they handle cases, if you want to learn how to be an Agency detective."
"Yes, but ... then, all that going back and forth to the city to convince you to accept the task? If you was going to take care of it from the beginning, why you made fun of me like that?"
Dazai rubbed his forehead in search of the most appropriate answer. It wasn’t something he had planned, but he was equally stronger than him: after all, Atsushi's reactions, to his constant teasing, were the most adorable he had seen so far.
"Let's put it this way ..." With a rush he leaned over the face of the Agency's newcomer and touched the tip of his nose with his finger. "It was not my intention to push myself too far, but you're too easy to cheat and I could not resist."
With a leap back, the boy-tiger again posed an adequate distance of security between them, at least to mask the redness on his face generated by embarrassment and shame. Yes, he had really been cheated and in the most embarrassing way possible.
The older man nodded satisfied, straightening his torso.
"I leave the write of the report to you, ok?" He waved satisfied, putting his hands in his trouser pockets and walking away humming a weird little tune.
All under the astonished gaze of Atsushi shaking his head.
"What a mysterious man."
