Dazeray: A Friendly Conversation
By far one of our most interactive commissions ever was the lovely sound monsters built by Murray and Daisy. Dazeray's piece jingled and jangled, whirred and whizzed (depending on what you hit, pulled or spun around).
The sculptures have found a new home at a school - we hope the kids enjoy them as much as we did!
Me and Daisy's new Dazeray project was a venture into a 3D musical sculpture installation. With the assistance of Daisy's brother Timmy, we created three characters with the aim of being aesthetically fun but also that could let people interact and have fun. This was all done for Eye Candy Festival 2014! It was great to be part of the festival, to meet a whole host of inspiring artists, friends old and new, and to see people enjoying the work we made!
A dazeray update on this tumblr is loooooong overdue! So time to jump in and focus on a couple of big things we've been up to, but first here's some quick snaps of me and Daisy illustrating PowerLunches bar in Dalston with sea critters and fish bowls for our friend Jon's 30th birthday!
Finished the new Dazeray mural at the Roundhouse for their Rising Festival starting tomorrow alongside Belly Kids! Better pictures to come but in the meantime enjoy these iphone pics of the finished article and of me and Daisy ;)
New Dazeray stuff! Me and Daisy have been working for Roundhouse's Rising festival this week in partnership with Mike from Bellykids! One of the cool things we've done so far is make this exclusive print that will be on sale this week!
