A/N: I am really, really sorry in advance. I feel like this chapter isn’t as good of quality as the first chapter made. I’ve re-written this around 8 separate times trying to summarize my entire idea but compressing 10k worth of words into 3k is stupid difficult. I’ve been sitting on this for over half a year and want to just get it over with so I broke it up. Hope you still enjoy reading though! Ɛ>
The chanting caws of crows echo eternally into night sky, fading into obscurity upon taking a directionless flight.
[F/n] sighs, leaning onto the windowsill of her worn cabin. Deep within her own thoughts as her eyes mindlessly skim through the dainty atmosphere of her own realm. She runs her fingers through her hair, untangling small knots caught along the way.
It had been minutes since the end of their previous match. Hours since Leon confessed his feelings for her without needing to say a word. The permanent memory made her flush. From the way his lips felt against hers to the way their bodies melded together almost too perfectly, it was as if they were created specifically for one another.
Images of his nude figure were pinned at the very center of her core memories: burned securely into its place. [F/n] felt her mouth water at the mental sight of his abs, her cheeks sizzling feverishly as she could do nothing to prevent the replay of their intimacy.
Her scowl cracks, unable to hide the adoration felt as a smile emerges among the visible blush on her expression. Though as quick as it came— it went.Coming away from her position, [F/n] groans, bringing a hand to soothe her a temple. There was a major issue present she couldn't ignore. Their prolonged session couldn't have gone unnoticed by his teammates.
Would they believe Leon if he said she slugged him? Or if he was simply being overly stealthy? Could anything really justify the absurd amount of time taken to complete a match?
The mere idea of anyone else discovering their relationship gave her a migraine.
How would her fellow killers respond? How would the survivors respond?
If the survivors shunned Leon it would snowball into a massive issue in the long run, making matches far more strenuous than needed. It would only require for him to be downed once —once to be abandoned on hook— for his run to be over.
Then, knowing well none of the killers would show an ounce mercy without some sort of return she simply couldn't provide, the outcome of this would eventually drive [F/n] to a breaking point. The entity was not at all a fan of friendly fire when it came to her killers, she knew this far too well.
[F/n] felt her heartbeat quicken, clutching a fistful of her serape. Heavy footsteps did nothing to reel her from overthinking as Danny made his presence known. Arm extended to grip the doorframe.
The leather of his glove crossing her eyes first before the rest of him did.
Danny shook his head as their eyes met. Demeanor anything but well, there was no sugarcoating what transpired.
"Well there's two things— it's a shitshow." He pauses, head shrinking back in anticipation.
"They ended up interrogating your little plaything, toots."
[E/c] eyes widen, [F/n] paced towards him with anger.
"What do you mean?"
"Well..."
Leon sighed, planting his thumb and index finger across his forehead. He was visibly annoyed. Though he didn't expect any less from the result of their previous trial. Tossing his head back out of his hunched position, he stands, finally turning towards the group with a stern expression.
He felt his anxiety rising under the number of mixed stares he'd receive from judging eyes. Awaiting any sort of explanation, reasoning, justification. They all wanted an answer he couldn't honestly give them.
"I already said what happened, whether you believe me or not isn't my problem." Leon repeats.
YunJin scoffs at him. "Do we look stupid to you?" Her arms crossed. "You spent hours in the realm!" The accusatory tone in her voice didn't go unnoticed. Their other two teammates, Dwight and David, were complete contrasts of each other's reactions.
David appeared more annoyed than upset, his hand rubbing the ache felt within his head. Like YunJin, he suspected something was going on: whether it was foul play or not was something to be told. Though he wasn't nowhere near accusatory.
Dwight on the other hand chewed on his nails, rather dismissive of the entire situation, figuring there must've been some sort of misunderstanding. They were all on the same side, it wouldn't make any sense for Leon to lie. He was a rookie cop fighting to save the world.
"Maybe he's... telling the truth?" He mumbles just loud enough to be heard, readjusting his glasses to see YunJin shoot him a displeased look. "I-I mean he has n-no reason to lie? I, uhm, I trust him..."
Dwight's voice gets softer and softer, feeling the pressure as the three stare intensely at him. Leon makes eye contact with Dwight, nodding at him in appreciation. In return, Dwight smiles sheepishly. Almost proud.
Though Leon felt bad for taking advantage of his naivety, the result of outing themselves far outweighed his guilt.
YunJin, scoffing, makes her discontent even more obvious than it already was. She grimaced, shoving a finger close to Leon's features. "Whatever you are hiding— you will regret it. That girl is nothing more than a manipulator."
The sound of crunching leaves quickly fills the ambiance as Yunjin storms off, David following after with a disappointed sigh and a mutter.
Leon stands, a wave of relief washing over him as their figures soon disappear within the trees. For the time being the issue has been squashed, at least until Yunjin tries something. He crosses his arms.
Dwight nervously laughs. "Y-You've always been nice to everyone at the campsite, so I-I trust you. Yunjin can be a bit... uh... Overdramatic?" Dwight struggles to find the words, not that it mattered. Leon can tell what the intention was, grateful at the attempt.
"Thank you." Was all he said, needed to, as Dwight returns the expression. He looks in the direction they walked off in momentarily before meeting his eyes again. Dwight immediately gets the message.
Danny peeks his head out of the tree he stood behind, eyes glued to the man who his best friend had fallen for. He becomes very aware of how hard he was gripping the handle of his knife. And suddenly, it dawned on him.
He wasn't staring at Leon, Danny was staring through him— the direction where the others walked in.
The way YunJin walked off raised some alarm. Was she a threat? Danny couldn't exactly hear the conversation due to the proximity between them. Regardless, this was something he couldn't chance. Merely judging based off expressions it was nothing good.
Danny scoops up a small rock beside him, gently tossing it in the air to test its velocity before launching it through the barrier. The small waves it produced as a result was enough to capture Leon's gaze, spotting it as it kicked up the dirt beside him upon landing.
Ghostface waves him over, causing Leon to look behind him for a moment to ensure Dwight was no longer around. Leon walks over to Danny without hesitation.
"YunJin— does she want to die?"
"All she knows is that I'm hiding something.”
Danny, dissatisfied at the answer, says nothing else but rolls his dark eyes at the response. He turns his back on Leon, taking a few steps away whilst fixing his mask. When he halted, he peers over his shoulder.
"Your girlfriend asked for you."
"Should've said something sooner."
It takes Leon a second before coming his side almost too eagerly. His boyish grin didn't go unnoticed. Danny raises a brow amused by the reaction.
"Completely shameless." Ghostface chimed.
Fading into the trees, the only a trace of them left were the crushed leaves that met their shoes.
"So where the fuck is he?" [F/n] interrupted impatiently, looking in the direction Danny originally walked in from. She held some expectation he would be near, though when she saw no trace of him her gaze returns to Danny.
Thankful she couldn't see the expression behind his mask, a bead of imaginary sweat runs from his forehead down to his chin. "...And that's the second issue. We got separated trying to enter your realm.”
The immediate shift of her expression made him cringe.
She less than subtly pushed past his shoulder, causing him to stumble slightly. Though it wasn't powerful enough to knock him over, it was enough for Danny to shoot her a glare.
"You're welcome too... bitch." He brushed it off quickly as he joined her out the door.

Crouched behind a wall of trash, Leon tensed as the sound of footsteps came closer. The pit in his stomach grew as he leaned over in an attempt to get a glance. Eyes meeting the figure of the man who looked around with a purpose.
He inches towards the opposite end, making the turn just in time as Evan moved forward. His fist clenched on the handle of his cleaver which was painted a sickly red at the dried blood. A low growl breaks the silence.
"I know you're out here!"
If anyone were to tell him this would be the current state of his life going into the future, that rookie officer would probably shit himself.
The cold sweat on Leon's neck increases as he does his best to create as much distance as possible between them. Leon spots a vault a few steps away, tracking towards it. His steps were light, worried the slightest sound would be his last, relieved once he successfully made it completely across.
Leon turns his head back, only able to see the very top of Evan's back.
"I'm not in the mood to play this game of hide and seek. Whoever's here needs to get the fuck OUT!" Evan's voice rung throughout the realm in clear agitation.
As nice as the idea was, Leon quite literally had no idea how to leave. Traditionally he'd have to do generators, but a quick survey of the area revealed the fact that there were none, and there was no indicator that hatch was present.
His only logical option was to wait out this entire situation. Surely Danny would've known something had gone wrong when they were no longer walking together. It only made sense he'd be searching after noticing.
Hopefully.
His attempt to go unnoticed is quickly erased as a small twig snapped underneath the sole of his shoe. Unable to contain the "oh shit," at his lips when he heard heavy footsteps come around the corner.
Evan wasn't sure who to expect. He assumed it was Danny playing a prank on him again or maybe even the entity fucking with him. So, when he laid his eyes on Leon, Evan was completely caught off-guard, dumbfounded as to why a survivor was lurking in his personal realm.
His nonexistent brows raise, giving it thought. The only way a survivor could end up in a killer's personal realm was if another killer had brought them there— and no survivor was insane enough to trust a killer outside of their protective dome in the first place.
Something wasn't adding up. Who could possibly be in cahoots with the survivors? Unless it was the entity herself? But this wasn't a match, there would be no point in presenting him otherwise.
With the grip on Evan's cleaver becoming tighter, Leon decides it's time to back up, eyes glued to the Trapper. The staring contest ends after Evan takes his first step forward as Leon breaks into a sprint.
Evan takes a second to recollect his thoughts before chasing after his intruder. Purposely tailing him in a calculated route, he knew it was only a matter of time before Leon stepped into one of the dozens of active traps laying around his realm.
Leon does his best to focus but finds difficulty in finding a safe path to dart towards. Any mistake could cost him his life.
But Leon was no simple man, vaulting over another opening as Evan swiped his weapon at him. Nearly tumbling in the process as an armed trap rested several inches before it, he narrowly avoided both ill outcomes.
"Can we talk about this?!" Leon shouts, finally panicking. No matter what he did, realization sunk in incredibly quickly as his options had finally run dry. The trap he missed clicking underneath the sole of his shoe.
Evan says nothing in return, instead watching the scene unfold.
Leon screamed as rusted metal locked into his ankle. He ducks down, desperately pulling the mechanism's jaw for any sort of relief. The pain was excruciating, crushing, on an entirely different level than what he was familiar with. Reality draws in the shadow hides him from the nonexistent light source.
"You're making a mistake!!!"
Leon looked up to watch him draw his weapon back, sweat turning ice cold as he stared death in the face. How could this possibly be fair? Out of everything he had survived through, this was how it ended— trapped like a helpless animal. He felt resentment at his circumstance, praying to a god he knew wouldn't listen.
The sound of harsh winds part through the air with lethal speed, scythe sticking into the ground effortlessly between them. Evan turns his head in the direction it came from, spotting the silhouette that stood on the roof of his shack.
It was a warning.
"Hey, Evan, buddy, I'm really sorry." Danny twiddled with his fingers: tone coated with more sarcasm than understanding. His knife not straying far, it comes out of his sleeve and into his gasp.
Leon takes this moment to grab the scythe, sticking its blade in between the claws he successfully pries himself free. He wobbled slightly, hissing, the pain was greater than what he accustomed to, using the staff as support.
Evan watches him go, making no effort to resume his chase: instead attending to his curiosity turning his attention to the approaching figure. It doesn't take him long to digest the information, clicking near immediately at the scene.
"A killer saving a survivor." He puts it simply, releasing a chuckle mocking the idea. "And I thought I went insane battling with the entity. You're fuckin' worse!"
"Evan." [F/n] states as if his name was an insult itself, [e/c] eyes squinting subtly in agitation. Clearly displeased and even more so when she takes the sight of Leon limping. She comes to his side, carrying him into her arms almost effortlessly with her blade still in his hold.
Leon swallows a grunt, relieved at the loss of pressure from his burning ankle.
"You okay?"
Appearing indifferent, she subtly observes his reaction in masked worry. "I'm fine now." Leon mumbles, offering her a small reassuring smile. [F/n] hums in acknowledgement, focusing her distain towards Evan.
"You know survivors aren't protected outside of a match."
"Then this is the perfect opportunity."
"Desperate enough to resort to this, Evan? Cause this is pretty fuckin' pathetic."
Silence, though it doesn't last longer than a moment.
"How long?" Trapper continues, moving to get closer only for Danny to step before the couple shaking his head. He brandished his already stained blade.
A reminder.
Evan growls at him in response, nearly offended.
"This doesn't concern you."
"You seriously think you can keep this hidden from her? She'll shred you both like scum: use your little boyfriend to make you feel a whole other type of pain you both can't forget." Evan spits, invisible grin emerging.
"Are you prepared for that, farmer? You're gonna lose him— just like how you lost everyone else. It’s all you know how to do, lose."
[F/n]'s grip on Leon becomes tighter and tighter as her agitation grows, masking it with a taunting smile on her lips along a heavy exhale.
"Anyone ever tell ya' you got a big fuckin’ mouth on you? Bastard." Smirk becoming wider, Evan shrugs confidently at her question.
"You should thank me for trying to bring you out of your delusion."
"Of course, how about I return the favor and teach you some manners as my thanks?"
The Trapper readjusts his grip on his hatchet completely unbothered; Danny's hum of disapproval interrupts the increasing tension, doing his best to divert their attention.
"It's too risky to do this with him here, toots." Gesturing obviously at Leon's presence, [F/n]'s tight grip instantly vanishes.
Leon winced at the sudden release of pressure, sighing through the pain. He meets her [e/c] eyes apologetically. Though there was no fooling his infatuated killer.
The thought cooks in her mind. As much as he was right it aggravated her. She wanted to punish Evan with every driving force in her body. No matter the consequence from the entity.
[F/n]'s predatory gaze meets the Trapper a final time. His figure burned in her memory.
“Whatever.”
Evan looks at her expectantly, knowing well he won the exchange his eyes gleam the reflection of a crow taking off in the background.
"You'll hear from me again very soon."
At her signal, Danny walks over to her, fishing for something underneath his coat he pulls out a foreign offering.
The Trapper smirks. "Don’t keep me waiting."
Evan watches Danny use the offering, taking a mental picture of the fog enveloping around them. His stare glued towards the survivor, more amused than anything, while he hums in content.
And just as quickly they were there: they weren't. Evan tilts his head, readjusting the hold on his machete as excitement rumbles through his veins. His stifled chuckle finally emerging.
"Let's see how long your lover’s charade will last, farmer."

As a man who loved to entertain himself more than anything, discovering your jumpiness was Frank’s new joy in life. He took advantage of every opportunity presented before him to make your heart leap in fear, whether that was simply tapping your shoulder from behind or full on scooping you up in his arms when you weren’t expecting it. He loved the way you gasped and covered your face with your hands, how you looked at him with such defiance when you had calmed down. It was just so amusing to him. I imagine Frank to be the embodiment of the expression, “when young boys like someone, they throw pebbles at such subject of their affection.” But, he never truly wanted to hurt you. If you showed signs of genuine pain or frustration, he would cease his joking and maybe even apologize.

Joey is much more mild and sympathetic, I would imagine. He’s not as brazen and teasingly harsh; instead he likes to think it through and consider what you are experiencing. So although he may enjoy messing with you from time to time, he never likes to ruffle your feathers too much. You’re too important to him; he always wants to protect and take care of you as much as he can, as if it would make up for all of the terrible things he’s done. However, he does think it’s cute when you make strange startled noises, so he indulges himself in spooking you every so often.

Danny, somehow, might just be even worse than Frank. Constantly using his power to sneak up on you, the man overwhelms and frightens you with his harsh touch, then acts all sweet and regretful as if he didn’t enjoy it, consoling you with painful pats on the back. He is just kind of incapable of ever being gentle, it seems. If he ever does try to touch you in a loving way, it always ends up being uncomfortable and hurtful for you. He doesn’t seem to notice. One second, Danny will be stealing the ground from under your feet and laughing while you stumble, but the next he will be cradling you like a baby, almost humiliatingly so. He is a man of mischief if anything, but not the good kind.

Ever the kind and altruistic soul, once Leon knew of your aversion to touch, he would steer clear from harming you in any way. When saving you from a hook or patching up your wounds, he would always be sure to ask if you are okay, if you needed a break, if it was too much. As you got closer to each other, Leon would perhaps try to open you up to new forms of touch—ones more gentle. Sometimes he would let his hand brush against you; maybe your knees would touch when sitting side-by-side; he would put his hand on the small of your back to steer you somewhere; and this was all done slowly and meticulously, his touch like a feather. He was the only one who went to such extent to make you feel safe and loved, so you began to tolerate his touch just fine—eventually, you found yourself at his side like a koala 24/7.

As someone not too fond of touch himself, Jake understands you. He is probably the most respectful of your wishes, finding a different way to bond with you instead. The both of you found each others’ mere presence to be enough—sometimes, you would simply sit in silence, each in your own thoughts, but aware of the other nearby. Occasionally, your eyes would meet, and you would share the softest of smiles; a conversation would strike up. Jake loved to ask you questions about yourself, or the world. Your perspective on matters was important to him; he enjoyed trying to figure out how your mind works. To Jake, your wellness was sacred, so he never touched you without permission, always searching your expression for clues on your mood.

Character: Leon S Kennedy (Resident Evil, Dead by Daylight)
Ship: Leon S Kennedy x Reader
Genre: Suggestive themes, but not too spicy!! 18+, minors DNI
Warnings: Not too much about from the suggestive themes, a bit of humiliation? It goes both ways tho 😳
Something was wrong. Most of the time, this would hardly come as a surprise; you were stuck in an endless torture realm. But today your fear wasn't placed in the next killer you were facing off in trials.
It was the way you woke up from your....less than pure dream with a certain raccoon city police rookie, only to a hear rustling that was far too noisy for the occasional crow. The type of rustling that you hear right before a fellow survivor crawls over to help you finish a gen. To help you heal from your dying state in a precarious position... Someone was there? You let out a groan as you tried to push the thought to the back of your mind-surely you weren't too loud, were you? God, imagine if you'd called his name out loud.... Best to clean up and find the survivor yourself before your thoughts continued to make that blush on your face deepen.
You peeled out from the makeshift camp area over to the dim light of the fire. You were betting that if anyone heard you, which you were definitely sure by now that someone did, their reaction would say a lot if you locked eyes with them in particular. Jesus, you really couldn’t catch a break here, could you?
As your eyes scanned to faces around the campfire, you recognised a couple of missing faces-Ace, David, Nea and Yui were missing from the group- the next trial must have happened right after the last.
Jake also wasn't present-God, does that mean it was Jake who overheard your little dream? No, that wouldn’t make sense. Jake is silent as a mouse crawling around the forest. If he did overhear you, you'd probably never hear anything from it again from him-but the thought of his disappointed glances made you slink back into yourself a bit.
"Oh, there you are! We were just sharing tips by the fire while you were gone," Kate's voice called you from your investigation.
You took a seat in between Kate and Claudette. Claudette offered you a kind smile, and nodded to the conversation at the fire.
"That new pair Leon and Jill just got back from their trial a while back," Your back stiffened at the mention of Leon's name. Again, your eyes glazed over the survivors frantically- a few gave you a nod, most were busy sharing tips to notice you, and Leon, the man who had all but occupied your dreams last night-
Leon was smirking at you.
You inwardly cursed at your luck. They said Leon had just returned, maybe....No, they returned a while ago. The only reason you'd left the campsite to go to your tent and take care of some...stress management was because you knew the man that had been the cause of your sexual frustration was in trial. You must have fell asleep some time after, and then.... Good God, it really was Leon who caught you, wasn’t it? And if his smug ass face was anything to go by, he didn’t mind it one bit.
"Everything alright there? Leon went to check and see if you had gone far, but you were just asleep," Claudette's soft voice pulled you from your frantic thoughts, and you managed to compose yourself and turn to give the healer a smile.
"Oh, I'm fine. I'm still waking up from that good dream, I guess," You turned to look to Leon directly as you said it, raising an eyebrow when his cheeks reddened and he averted your intense gaze. Claudette, sensing the tension between you and the rookie, offered you a nervous chuckle. You turned back to her and continued to speak to clear the awkward tension that had settled between the three of you.
"I suppose it was about time I woke up, though. How did the last trial go?" Relieved, Claudette gave a soft sigh. Having caught on to Claudettes discomfort, Kate began to fill you in on the last trial.
Maybe you should be more embarrassed about this, but...if only Leon didn't react the way he did, maybe your reactions would've been different. So the rookie wants to dish it but can't take it? Such a blushing schoolboy. It made you want to see how much of your teasing he’d stand. He’d have a good idea of it depending on how long he was listening into your frisky little dream.
Well. Maybe making him keep his mouth shut wouldn't be so much of a hassle for you after all. A familiar voiced perked up from Leon's side of the campfire.
"Actually, maybe now that your here you can teach Leon that handy perk of yours," Jill was, in fact, walking up to your little group at this moment, said rookie in tow. He looked a bit like a puppy being told off behind her, now that you think about it.
You nodded to them both. If Jill was giving you an opportunity to talk out your mortifying experience out with Leon, you were ready. Hell, maybe you didn't even have to be worried about it. He was biting his lip now, but straightened himself with a cool expression as you caught his gaze again. Good. You’d managed to brush your embarrassment off well enough to face him, you think. You weren't harming anyone with a simple dream- it was his fault for deciding to be a peeping tom.
"Sure thing!" Jill smiled, and brought you closer to pat your back. As she did, she whispered just loud enough for you to hear.
"He's been bugging me about you since we got here, you know," You blinked as you pulled back, and Jill took your seat. Oh? This was news. You held back a satisfied smirk, and cleared your throat. You turned to meet Leon's wry smile.
"Lets get going, yeah? I'll need some space to demonstrate this one," He nods his face still slightly flushed, and gestures for you to take the lead.
You can still feel Jill's smug grin burning into your back even as the two of you moved away from the chatter of the campfire.
------
"You're a quick learner, Leon," he gives a sheepish smile, shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders.
"What can I say? I have a damn fine teacher," You chuckle, at as your laughter slowly dies down there is an inexplicable weight in the forest. Leon clears his throat, and when you look back at him he's wearing that same smirk he wore at the campfire. He takes a step closer to you, and you feel your spine straighten. You have to stop yourself from taking a step back.
"You know, it's inappropriate to be having those kinds of dreams about your students. Calling their name out like that...you might have to give me some extra classes if that’s how your planning these lessons out," You let out an audible breath to silence the curses your dying to let out. God, you even called out his name?! Suddenly the patterns embedded into your shoes look a whole lot more interesting.
A part of you kind of still hoped it wasn't him who caught you uttering his name in the heat of your dream, that it was just some noisy bird rustling around near your tent. You couldn't help but blush- he'd at least had the dignity to call you out alone. He’d taken this moment of boldness to walk up closer to your figure- when you looked back up, he was right in front of you. His eyes held a light mirth, and that shit eating grin was plastered so pretty on his face- you kind of wanted to kiss him right then and there, embarrassment aside- surely that would shut him up-
"I can keep a secret, y'know. For a price,"
Ooh, he's been such a tease, acting all cocky and daring to make you feel uncomfortable for having a wet dream about him. Who did he think you were, some horny flustered teenager?
No. You were owning up to it, here and now. Playing on this whole fawn act was getting boring quick. With a raised eyebrow and sly grin, you closed the distance between the two of you. You let out a triumphant hum as you heard his breath hitch. Gently, you guided his chin closer to your lips and kissed him. He let out a yelp, but kissed you back so eagerly it was like he was the one who'd been fantasizing about this in his dreams.
You parted with him and he frowned at the innocent smile you gave him in return. You snaked your hands up to his hair, giving it a soft tug as Leon relented with a groan. Gently craning his neck to the side, you kissed his skin gently at his neck.
"This wasn't quite what I had in-oh!" You bit down, gently sucking on his neck. The complaint must’ve died on Leon's tongue, because all that was left was the cute, soft whimpers you’d heard in your dreams. Much better. A hickey ought to shut him up for now. After kissing the now reddened mark on his neck, you pulled back with a grin.
"Its what I had in mind. In fact-why don't we skip to those-extra classes-and I show you exactly what we did in my dream? Since I know-you're more than just a voyeur," You suggested in between kisses.
"Uh-yeah!- I-I mean, yeah, sure..." He managed to stammer out in between your kisses to his chin, neck, collarbones. So cute.
If the flustered blush and soft whines were anything to go by, you'd say you did a pretty good job of shutting him up.
leon spins around, ready to give out to the entity for ruining things between you- but she's already gone. leon deflates, letting out a shaky sigh... surely, jill would know what to do..? right?

"YOU WHAT?" jill yells, and leon sighs. "i told you, it was to protect them! i swear it was to protect them!" leon argues, but his friend rolls her eyes. "of course it was, scott. of course!" her tone is dripping with sarcasm. "fix this behaviour, because it's gonna get you in trouble. and... go apologise to them. no. more." jill speaks as if she's scolding a child, and leon hates it. he hates being spoken down to, but jill would know what to do best.
"okay... thanks, jill." the blonde gets up, and jill rubs her forehead with exasperation. "for god's sake leon, please don't kill anyone else i don't care if you had to do it in anyone's defense." leon furrows his brows, she just didn't understand it fully- yeah that was it. leon nods firmly, leaving his friend; and jill can feel a deep pit forming in her stomach.
"y/n..?" he calls out, keeping his voice soft to almost lure you out- but could it be called that if he was doing it to console you; to care for you? "y/n??" leon peers around a bit, you had to be here somewhere... if you weren't around the lodge then where would you be? "hey, you lookin' for dollface?" frank asks, and leon spins around. "yeah, have you seen them?" the blonde approaches the rebel, stony faced.
"so what if any of us have? they were really upset, doubt they'd wanna see you." danny quips, waltzing in. leon narrows his eyes, adjusting his feet in case he had to defend himself. "they're really upset. i don't think they'd wanna see you out of everyone. just leave ‘em and they’ll come back in their own time." danny shrugs, fiddling with the handle of his knife.
leon wants to reply, but he knows he's not getting any closer to you through them; so, biting his tongue, he turns and leaves. you had to be around here somewhere, he knew it; he had to keep looking. the wilderness snags at his pant legs, but he was determined to find you. "y/n? sweetie? i'm sorry..!” he calls, peering around every tree; every rock, under bushes and in bodies of water.
small sobs make him stop, straightening up as he searches for the source. "baby? is that you?" leon keeps his voice gentle, yet the crying stops. "y/n?" leon steps forward, eyes scanning through the nature around him. eventually, with a few more steps, he spots you; pressed up against a tree stump. "baby..!" leon smiles, approaching you.
once he gets closer, he notices your eyes. you're scared, terrified, and it makes him freeze. "y/n..." he mumbles, crouching before you. "i'm so sorry... i just wanted to protect you." leon reaches to dry your eyes, but you lean back. "don't be scared, darling. i'm here." leon frowns, keeping his hand close to yours as an offer. "why..?" you whisper, eyes only looking into his. "why what?"
"why did you do this, leon?" your question makes him mildly annoyed, but his adoration for you snuffs it. "i was protecting you. i promise it was for your own good." leon smiles slightly, yet you shake your head. "by killing them?" your voice is filled with distress, he wants nothing but to hug you tightly and never let go. "yes... i'll admit it was a bad call. i'm sorry." leon goes to take your hand, yet you pull away. "you're just like them..! you're worse!" tears escape your eyes, and leon feels frustrated.
"i was protecting you! do you want to go back to living in fear?" leon snaps, and you scoff. "nothing's changed, leon. only you." you get up to leave again, yet leon snatches your arm; tugging you back. yelping, you struggle; but he manages to wrestle you back, hugging you tightly. "i was trying to protect you, i'm sorry. i promise it won't happen again; just stay with me." leon pleads, and you finally relax in his grip.
"i don't know... you've changed." his hand practically cradles your head against his shoulder. "i'm sorry. i'm so sorry, darling... i promise i will never do it again." leon sighs. silence lays over the two of you, and eventually you break down; sobbing as your hands curl into his jacket. leon smiles, soothing you as he rests his head against yours. "i've got you, love. it's gonna be okay."
"this has to stop, leon... please." you beg, pulling away to look at him. "i promise." he hooks his pinky into yours, pressing his forehead against your own. "i've been so scared.." you whine, pressing into him. "i know, i know. you don't have to be anymore. i'm here." leon's arms are still tight around you, refusing to let go. "c'mon. you must be starving."
frank was disappointed that you were huddled up against leon, cradling a bowl of soup that joey had made against your chest as the crew all chat like nothing had happened. the rebel was growing accustomed to you coming to him with all this drama. oh well, he thought, if anything happened you would go to him for comfort. "frank, you're foods getting cold." joey nudges his friend, who hums. "yeah, sorry." he mumbles, tuning into the conversation susie and danny were having instead of thinking about you.
leon kept you close, you were curled up on the couch, snug under his arm. it felt good to have you back, he just wanted to shower you with love. with the gang of killers all joking around, you had relaxed; feeling rather at home. leon had finished his own food, letting you have any leftovers. you happily took them, hungry after days of nothing.
the night ends on a high, with everyone laughing and having fun. leon takes your hand, bringing you up to your bedroom. flopping down onto the bed, you sigh as leon shrugs off his jacket; joining you. curling into him, you wrap all your limbs around his body, nuzzling into his neck. “i’m glad we’re okay again.” leon mutters, lips kissing your forehead gently. “me too…” you respond, voice rather sleepy. “i’m not letting you out of my sights for a long time. i promise you’re safe with me.”your lover sighs, and you hum. “just don’t go crazy again… i don’t want that.” you frown, tilting your head back to press a kiss to his lips. “don’t worry, i won’t. i promise you that i’ll do things civilly. i’ll fix this.”
you smile, satisfied with leon’s response. “good. i love you.” your fingers gently graze over his cheek, and leon smiles too, leaning into your hand. “i love you too. i’ll always love you.” he mumbles, kissing your palm gently. “goodnight, love. get some rest.” you nod, huddling closer as a cold gust of wind overtakes the room you’re both inhabiting. “goodnight, leon.”
you were working on a generator with your teammate leon, in the fractured cowshed. as you two were repairing, leon quickly got up from the generator and said "stop." you stopped and from there he told you to follow. you both made your way into the next section of the barn though, there only lied one locker. "damn.." leon let out under his breath. "what?" you questioned. "killers here, we don't have a choice we need to hide." he pointed towards the locker. the killers heartbeat was approaching quickly so without wasting further time, you agreed and leon started getting into the locker.
꘎♡━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━♡꘎
as you, were getting ready to step into the locker, leon grabbed your waist and swung you in, shutting the door behind you quickly and quietly. the killer had entered the room. while the killer looked around, you in the meanwhile had to deal with the uncomfortable position you were met with. leon and you were now chest to chest. as you looked to him, he looked to you. leon's arms had to be down while yours were up on his shoulders. there wasn't much leg room so leon's knee became your resting spot. your heart pounded fastly, due to the intense closeness with leon, as well as the killer being right outside. leon shifted due to his uncomfortably position however, his whole body moved. his knee that was your resting position grazed across your upper thigh. it was a shock and you let out a slight noise. leon quickly covered your mouth just as the sound escaped and grabbed your waist, hoping the killer had not just heard it. but they did. their head quickly turned back around, and they slowly grew closer to the locker door. leon, gripping you tightly as you close your eyes, knowing the worst is about to come. the killer is right in front of the locker. "it's all over" you thought, until a loud ring was heard. you could hear the killer groan but their heartbeat overtime left.
꘎♡━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━♡꘎
once you heard no more of them, leon took his hand off your mouth and ungripped you faster than a bolt of lighting. you both stumbled out of the locker and to leon's surprise, you had red hot cheeks. "so..." he awkwardly paused, "do we wanna talk about-" you swiftly cut him off. "not a WORD leon." you said sternly. you made your way towards a window to try and get some fresh air, trying to calm yourself down from the situation. as you began taking deep breaths in, you heard leon come up and whisper in your ear, saying, "if you want me to do it again, i'd be more than happy to." he moved away from your ear and began making his way back to the generator. your cheeks only grew redder. as you took a second to think about what he said it reminded you of the graze. how ticking but pleasurable it felt. your head started spinning and you ran towards leon, lightly hitting him yelling "don't say that!!!! forget it ever happened!!!!!" he only laughs and continues to work on the generator.

the rest of the time was..well odd. he hardly looked at you, but you were constantly looking at him. did he really mean what he said or was it just play? his face was like stone, it didn't seem he even cared. after working on the generator and completing it, you both got up. as leon was starting to leave you spoke up, "did you really mean what you said?" you questioned. "do you want me to really mean it?" he questioned back. you stand, blushing again. silence stayed between you two as you locked eye contact. you broke away though, "of course not!! what do you even mean!! don't play any games why would i ever want that to happen again!" a whiny exclamation came out of your mouth, and he just smiled.
