Been thinking a lot about the Anderson family lately and who Cole’s mom would have been. Whoever she is, I feel like she’s still alive or Hank would have been mourning her death, too. This is the result of my ruminations.

Mayven “May Day” Daly-Anderson works dispatch for the police department. (Which is how she and Hank met.) Though she now works at a different precinct. The two are currently separated, but still legally married. And they still love and care about each other. They just couldn’t keep it together after the death of their son. Both were in so much pain from the loss, they didn’t have anything to give to keep their marriage together. I want to see Hank have an emotional redemption arc where he starts getting his shit back together. Something that’s all about him and less about Connor and him dealing with Connor’s deviancy. (Though Connor will totes be a third wheel through the whole thing.)

I’m not super happy with May’s design in this. I’m going to keep fiddling with it.

Also, part of Connor’s deviancy is that he now as the ability to go chibi when he’s doing something particularly stupid and/or adorable.

Okay but can you believe that Hank is, canonically, Markus' No1 Fan™, like

he won't help you in finding Jericho if he thinks you still pose a threat to the Deviants and then he's willing to shoot at you/throw you off of a fucking rooftop to stop you from killing him, even if Markus has f'ed up the public's opinion on that run and honestly that's the purest thing in the whole damn game and we need to talk about it more.
