i’m nearly caught up with dragon ball super and i had to go and check the timeline on the wiki to sort of solidify when i think hana and piccolo’s kids would come about 🤔

so the cell games end in the year 767. i think at this point hana and piccolo have a very, very close relationship. i’m honestly not sure if they’d ever officially get married in the traditional sense, but by this point they’re 1000% committed to each other and nothing will ever change that. even so, i don’t think they’d necessarily have kids right away after cell, even though they both like the idea. their point of view is that they should wait a while just to make sure all the fighting and hard times are over.

three years pass, and with the announcement that krillin and 18 are engaged it kinda solidifies that the bad stuff is all behind them now, so they talk about it for a while and ultimately decide to start a family. piccolo carries the egg of course. he doesn’t rush the process like his dad, so he spends a month or so taking it easy. without much of an idea of how the process is actually meant to work, it comes as a surprise when piccolo ends up having it suddenly during krillin and 18′s wedding reception 😂 and that’s bodhran, who hatches a week later.

three more years pass, it’s 773, everything is still peaceful. with bo getting older, hana and piccolo decide to have another child. piccolo carries it again, and this time everything goes a lot smoother. bansuri’s born at home, though he takes longer to hatch than his brother.

buu saga happens. i still haven’t decided if hana and the kids die during this time. i’m leaning towards no, because they’d probably be with bulma and chi-chi and all them and i’m pretty sure they all survive until the end without being turned into candy or whatever. (i’ve only seen buu saga once, it’s not my fave)

and so then this all just leads me to the episodes in super that i’m watching now, with the tournament to decide the fates of the universes. this is in the year 780, so bo would be 10 and ban 7. they’d probably go off with goten and trunks and marron to watch 17′s island during the tournament, none the wiser about the stakes. both of them at this point too are still being trained by piccolo (bo won’t stop his training until he’s about 18), though they’re nowhere near goten and trunks’ power (give ban a few years though haha)

ANYWAY i’ve just been thinking about them a lot lately, even though i doubt my fic will ever actually get to them. it’s just nice to know they eventually exist. :’)
