Come on, homeboy, that's as green as it gets.
So in your world, this constitutes a turn lane. So, on Planet You, is there anything that's not a turn lane?
I love it when a honking horn means, “I did something really stupid, and now I’m angry that nobody’s helping me get out get out of the mess I got myself into.”
Step 1: Coffee. Be civil, be urban.
Step 2: Farragut Square. Damn the torpedoes!
Step 3: Brainstorm. More Post-its.
Caffeinated or crazy?
I am blogging at work right now! This is soo illegal! But everyone has left for Easter Holiday and now I'm all hyped up on diet coke and twizzlers (time check--10:45am) and I have to tell you the great news!!!
I have found a home! I am moving!
It's in Clarendon- right near Eatbar, which is this fantastic bar that is attached to a nice restaurant called Tallulah, that serves great happy hour specials (like glasses of vino for $3.50) and really fun twists on bar-finger-food (like mushroom and feta arancini- which are basically fried risotto balls of yum).
ANYWAY, I'm not just moving there for the food-- the house is lovely and the three girls living there with me are also lovely and a little bit older which is probably a good thing now that I've forfeited my college waste-case lifestyle (...to some degree). I'm renting the basement which is HUGE and has its own bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace and separate entrance. And the best news of all is that I can walk to the metro! Meaning no more angry, stressed-out, crazy DC commuting Jen. If you can't tell, I am very excited. I move next Sunday so this next week is going to be packed! But tons of great things are happening so here's a few others:
David & I are going to Ikea this weekend to find stuff for my new home
Sunday we're spending Easter with David's family, since mine are in Florida
My best friend Coco comes to visit next Thursday
I move Sunday the 15th!
I just booked my tickets to fly to Charleston for the first weekend of May for the Charleston Affair and all the other fun springtime-end of the semester-graduation festivities!
So watch out Chucktown, I'll be seeing you soon!!!
