I've been back in DC for one day
and I've gotten stuck in 3 hours of traffic, lost my metro card, and hauled myself up three sets of broken escalators.

Metro train service between McPherson Square and Federal Triangle stations on the Orange and Blue lines has resumed.
DC’s Metro train service was delayed between the McPherson Square and Federal Triangle stations due to more smoke and fires…again. Luckily, no one was injured. Hopefully, these safety surges correct the problem so events like this or worse don’t occur in the future.
