Bio: Gene grew up with magic. His father had the artifacts before him. On his fifteenth birthday, he received them. The story goes that his ancestors were members of this order that protected the Center. The Center created the artifacts for its guardians to use to protect it. The artifacts were tied to a single bloodline and only direct descendants can use them.

He joined the Justice League of America under the wing of Zatanna. He has many enemies.

Thanks to the last game, Djinn is in some deep shit. While trying to channel the Seven Deadly Sins through his body in order to lock them away in the Rock of Eternity, he accidentally pulled in the spirit of the recent incarnation of Captain Marvel, who had been sacrificed.

When he felt Marvel's spirit pass through him he said "Shazam" on an impulse. While this shoved the man's soul back into his body, it transferred Captain Marvel's powers to Djinn. His own powers where merged with the Rock of Eternity and he became Captain Marvel, much to his dismay. Thankfully his buddy Jack O'Lantern grabbed a piece of the Rock as it started to break down around them.

Lets hope Gene can get back to being Djinn and not be stuck as Captain Marvel.
