I was very sad to hear this show was ending and managed to get this done before the end of the month! Goodbye Moonie and Sunny, you both shall be missed!!!! Flora and Kai breathed a lot of fun and life into the characters. I'm super behind on the show but plan to spend this week catching up! I'm excited to see what projects Flora and Kai work on next.
I hope this isn't the complete end of these gals, and maybe they'll cameo in the future. If not, the show itself had a lot of hard work put into it and I'll think of it fondly.
Sad thing about this fanart, I sketched these poses way back when Moon turned Sun and himself into a girl....I started this fanart before the show even was announced and I finished it only in time for it to end T A T
I gave Sunny a different palette from the one I use for Sun, just so she has her own unique colors and her own identity. And I gave her flowers too because it just seemed right. I liked her spunk and attitude. Flora did so much for her and I always loved the ad lib moments she added in! Moony got a shooting star on her legs and I went more into the star designs for her just to have fun and make her more unique from Moon. I gave her a teal star palette because again, to me the femme crew has always been their own people and not just gender swaps of tsams. I hope my designs carry that across. Kai brought such different and chill vibes to Moony.
