Ēberm and Iakē have been sorta-friends for a while. They first came across each other when Iakē went out of the village to go forage, as she likes bringing home freshly picked forage items to fix food for her family. Ēberm was also foraging at the time and stopped her from accidentally eating something he personally experienced as toxic, largely because he’d rather not drag an ill morpha back into the village.
Iakē likes to go back out to “coincidentally” forage with him, discussing plants and even sharing some of her recipes. She considers Ēberm as a good friend
Ēberm reluctantly tolerates her presence as she doesn’t bother him for help and accepts her as pleasant background noise. Ēberm is at a point where he’s too stubborn to actually label her as a friend
