It's Finals Day.

And I'm about to endure one of the hardest days of my life. Sure, on one hand, scores are a thing and Fusion is gonna scratch and claw and fight to end higher than last night may indicate that we would. I have one show left to make this thing perfect, and that will be a challenge, especially given how close I've gotten to succeeding already.

But, it's more than that.

Today is actually my final day as a member of Fusion Core. Years of tenure, of memories, and of growth come down to one more performance, and one last day. I think in my mind I know moving on is important and I need to do it, but watching this corps grow and be a major part of that is gonna make it hard. I'm gonna miss this bassline, and I'm gonna miss this percussion section.

Today is the gift. The reward for the hard work. One more day, and one more chance. And it's gonna be amazing.

There are 21 rehearsal days separating us from DCA Finals. It translates to over 50 actual days, but all the same I thought of the amount of time left and felt instant chills. That doesn't feel like enough time.
