This is for my DickKory shippers. I just realize how in the new 52 Red Hood and the Outlaws comic they made Kory have amnesia for whatever reason, and she couldn’t remember anyone before she met Jason like the Titans and Dick and the significance of those relationships. Now currently in the comics Dick has amnesia, and I’m referring to the very beginning before he started remembering stuff. He couldn’t remember all the significant events and people in his life. I don’t know if you would call these parallels or not, but I thought this was interesting to point out.

This is bothering me...

There’s something that has been on my mind today and it’s just bothering me. It’s about a mutual I know and I’m not going to mention their name because if they see this then they’ll probably know what I’m talking about.

Some of you might know, but I’m bisexual and when it comes lgbt related things I’m really passionate about it.

Anyway I was scrolling through another mutual of mines blog and I come across this ask that was directed to the mutual that this post is about. This person called said mutual a homophobic of a post they made awhile back ago. I saw and read said post and comment, defending her because at the time I got what she was coming from and didn’t think she deserve the hate she gotten.

Back to the ask, this mutual said she wasn’t homophobic and that one of her OCs is gay.

Okay that might seem all good and dandy,but that’s like saying you’re not racist because you have a black friend. Also how can you write an OC lgbt character when you said yourself that you don’t support the community? If you don’t understand how someone who’s lgbt emotional, mental, physical, and physiological state is like then how on earth are going an lgbt character. Last time I checked, you can’t write something you don’t understand.

Now I read what other people had to say who disagree with her and this one person made some good points and I’m going to list a few.

“‘Not supporting us’ doesn’t make sense. You don’t hate us, but you don’t agree with us being gay?” I agree that it does seem conflicting that you don’t hate us but don’t support, and in my opinion says you don’t care about the hardships lgbt people go through or how we continuously want equality. That’s someone who supports the community would do isn’t it? The second part about not agreeing of us being gay is pretty simple because in your post you said and I quote, “Yeah, I do think it’s wrong for a guy to marry another guy,” this is something I overlooked the first time around, but I can see the problem with that. But like you said, you don’t hate us so it should be all good and dandy.

Another point this person made is what I said earlier about your OC being a gay character. “Making a gay character is great! But it doesn’t seem right that you don’t support us, yet you are writing on us.” I understand how this doesn’t make sense because you can’t write something that you’re ignorant about because it doesn’t work like that. It would be a different story if you were to you still admit you don’t support but wanted to learn about what the lgbt community goes through so maybe you could support us.

Another point this person made is how straight people don’t have a place to claim that they’re not homophobic. I had to think on that one because you said that your post could’ve been taking out of context. But this person said this, “Homophobia is determined how you view, speak, and act towards us, and if we find it descriminating, you’re being homophobic.” This is important because I comment on your post saying this, “There’s s difference between not supporting and hating others. You shouldn’t have to explain yourself, and as a bisexual, though you don’t support the lgbt+ community I appreciate you not discriminating others for being who they are.” These were my words because I didn’t see conflict of your post, but I forgot that it didn’t mean other people was going to have the same sentiment. I had to learn this the hard way, but what you post can be perceive differently depending on a person’s perspective. So from what I can tell coming from their perspective they found your post a little bit homophobic.

Then they point out religion, but I’m not going to say much about it because I personally don’t involve myself with any religion. But the beliefs you have that doesn’t let you support the community, I wish you would’ve said what those were to better understand you because I’m not going to doubt your religious beliefs because that’s not my place.

Now I’m in a place where I don’t know how to feel about you. I don’t hate you because I don’t know you personally, but it’s conflicting at the moment. After reading other people’s views, I just have mix feelings about your post now. I’m not going to downright call you homophobic, but after giving it some thought I will say some of the things you said does feel...sketchy.

I made this post because I needed to get my thoughts out because that’s what my blog is and I say what I feel needs to be said. Also I need you to see this because I don’t know if you acknowledge someone else who doesn’t agree with you.

I had a thought...

Remember when the Titans trailer first came out and the vast majority thought Dick was Jason 2.0? Good times good times. Anyway, remember when the first episode dropped and some still thought he acted more like Jason, but I think that was leaning more towards his vigilante persona. Lets forget about Robin for a second and just talk about Dick Grayson. When he was first introduced to his new partner, he was just like “okay you stay in your lane and I’ll stay in mines and we’ll be good.” You could just feel the whole “I work alone” vibe from him. Even the people on the police said he likes to work alone because of what happened with his last partner *cough* Batman *cough*. Dick, himself, even told his partner that he was becoming too much like him. Which I find a little ironic because he shows a few traits similar to Bruce. Then he meets sweet ole Rachel, who he had not intentions of getting attach to. Of course, life doesn’t always go as planned. Like the boy is already “protective dad” mode and as he’s helping Rachel, even if he denies it, he’s starting to care for the kid and get attach. That’s why in episode two he was going to leave Rachel with Hank and Dawn. He didn’t trust himself enough to take care of Rachel. Also I think deep deep down, Dick was afraid, that if he let himself get attached to Rachel, he would end up screwing the kid up. He wanted to distance himself from her because that’s much more easier than letting someone in. You can’t tell me that this isn’t such a Bruce thing. Like Dick and Bruce are polar opposites but share similar traits as well.

Okay that’s the end of my rant.

Titans Episode 10 Rant!!!

There’s so much things I have to say about this episode that it’s not even funny. So much shit happened in this episode that I’m still trying to wrap my head around.

I’m going to say this right now. The episode was supposed to be about Kory’s background but somehow, someway, Rachel’s origin got tied into is as well.

Donna walking into the house and taking Kory down with her lasso was badass. She someone as a threat she takes care of it. I love Donna and I need more of her.

I didn’t appreciate Angela accusing Kory of killing Rachel. Not. At. All. She doesn’t know Kory. She doesn’t know that Kory had every intention of protecting Rachel from the very beginning. Screw what any prophecy says otherwise. She loves Rachel.

Let's give props to my boy Dick Grayson for defending Kory. He tells Donna that what they saw back at the house wasn't the real Kory. The Kory he knows loves Rachel. Will do anything to protect this girl. Even though she didn't have her memories, one big aspect of her character we saw throughout the series is her caring nature. Her protectiveness for the ones she loves because that's who she is.

Donna rolling her eyes and bluntly stating, ”You're sleeping with her, ” was priceless. I love how she knows that Dick cares about Kory. She just knows that he's slowly falling for her.

My sweet Gar is still haunted by what happened in the asylum. He just needs a big hug and I want to be the one to do it.

Let's also appreciate the fact that Gar called Dick’s number because he knows if he’s in trouble, Dick would come running.

Kory’s ship is fucking awesome! I’m with Dick when he asked how she could forget something like that? Man I would live in that ship if I could.

We learn some more tea about Rachel’s biological parents (Bc Angela & Trigon aren’t her family) and of course it isn’t good.

We see that Trigon looks like an actual demon or something you would see from Hell.

Then we learn about the truth about good ole Angela. In the book, Kory and Donna were looking at, there were two people dressed in cloaks. The shorter one was Raven and the other woman is Angela. The trio realizes that Angela has been playing them since the beginning and Rachel is in potential danger. They just know they fucked up.

I was always iffy about Angela since the asylum episode. I didn't buy the whole ”mother knows best” thing I felt like she had going on. Like bitch, you send your daughter away and been locked up for five years. I'm sorry but I find it a little suspicious for her to act all close to Rachel.

Lemme get back to my boy Gar real quick because I had to watch him nearly die. All because of that two face bitch.

I adore Rachel and it fucking breaks my heart that she's getting screw over by her own mother. Angela knew that her daughter is afraid of her powers and she used that to her advantage. Then ask Rachel to summon her demonic father like wtf? Then Rachel running into her father’s arms like she knew him her whole life??? Like I know she’s 14 and all but how naive do you gotta be to not know that he’s bad news???

I know been defending Rachel throughout this, but her character is starting to annoy me. The stupid things she has done makes me want to slap some sense into her. She doesn’t feel like the character the actress is suppose to be portraying and I’m a little disappointed. Raven is my favorite character and a complex one as well, but I'm not giving up on Teagan yet.

Dick protective ”Mother Hen” mode is the best thing ever. How he ran towards the house because his instincts have kicked in at that point and he knows his kid (yes I said it!) is in danger, and one thing we know about Dick Grayson is that if you hurt the ones he love, then you got a rude awakening coming.

I think it's important to point out that Dick was the only one to enter the house. Cause remember when Trigon said something along the lines of breaking Rachel’s heart, and he knew right away to use Dick to do just that. Rachel became attach with Dick along this crazy journey and she knows it would break her heart if anything was to happen to him and she couldn’t help him.

I can’t wait for the season finale tomorrow and how this all plays out.

Fuck My Life!!

I was just typing my new fic that is going up on my second blog just for my computer to die on me. I didn’t even save before it turned off! The weirdest part is, that it was at 13% at charging and it just shut off. Now I gotta retype my fic again once my laptop had full juice.

Netflix is bringing DC back!!!

Batman: Bad Blood is on Netflix and I’m so happy because I remember I had to rent it on demand to watch it. Then Gotham added new episodes like omg can my night any better!

RHATO ISSUE #27 Rant!!

The issue was bland, but that’s not surprising to anyone at this point in the series. I still can’t comprehend where this plot is going, so at this point I’m following Lobdell down a rabbit hole.

The first panel Jason was clueless of Roy’s death. I really thought it was going to be repeat of Bruce not telling his family *cough* Dick *cough* telling them their loved one *cough* Jason* died. Okay I cleared my throat.

I was surprised that Bruce made an appearance in this issue, knowing that he beat Jason to a bloody pulp two issues prior. Also can we talk about the fact that when Jason saw him, he was expecting a fight because he’s just use to it at this point. It irked me when Bruce said, “Cobblepot didn’t die. Yet. So technically you didn’t break our deal.” Like he’s basically like “don’t worry about me beating you up because it was basically for nothing” like absolutely not.

I do give props to Bruce for telling Jason about Roy’s death though. Maybe he did learn something after all.

Now I was expecting an apology from Bruce because he kinda fucked up big time. But did we get that? No. Instead he goes on to tell Jason how he deserves to get his ass whoop when he steps out of line. Once again DC just sweeps Bruce’s actions under the rug without no real consequences. Jason just goes with it because he loves the poor bastard way too much that it’s easy for him to forgive Bruce.

Was it just me but when Bruce told Jason he didn’t hate him I didn’t believe him. I don’t know, but with the mix signals Bruce sends Jason makes it hard to believe anything he says. Words mean nothing when your actions speak louder.

The hug kinda made the whole thing in issue 25 pointless.

Jason calling Roy’s phone after he knows the truth was bittersweet. Roy was seriously his ride or die. Fuck! He was his damn family that loved him through everything! Why does DC hate my boy so much when he has so much greatness in him.

The rest of the issue was eh.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t want Jason to be killed off in Titans. I will honestly be piss if DC decides to let the fans vote once again to kill him off. Next, is that we already have the Red Hood in different medias. If DC let one series allow Jason just to be Robin, would it be so bad? I don’t read comics as religiously as others, so the little knowledge I know of Jason’s Robin days are from fan fiction. It would be cool to see Pre-Red Hood Jason on tv.

Also, again my opinion, a lot of people only seem to focus on Jason’s second life when the first one is just as important. Though I’m aware that coming back from the dead can change a person, and Jay has changed a lot, but he still has his personality before he died. That’s what makes his character so unique because his present and past life intertwine with one another to make up the complex character that he is.

My last point that I want to make, is that we already know the story of Jason’s death. Again, its been told in different medias. I’m aware that Jason’s death is a huge part of his character and I don’t ignore that, but his Robin days are still important to him as well.

In conclusion, I just want to see Robin!Jason without death being involved.
