It’s been ten years since the high school clique calling themselves the Knights of Hell has seen each other. They are gathered for a reunion of sorts at a two story house off of a bayou.Ten years ago the brother of one of the Knights was driven to suicide (or was he?) - everyone gathered for the weekend had some part to play in the untimely demise of Castiel Novak.
As all the Knights are gathered an electronically altered voice alerts them that they are there to atone for the part they each played in Castiel’s fate ten years ago. They are joined by Dean Winchester who was another tool used in their torment as the knights went after every support Castiel had at school and ran off his friends.
They soon discover that none of their group sent out the invites and that something more sinister is at play.

Newly-human Castiel is in bitter exile from the bunker but he’s not resentful enough to turn Dean down when he invites him on a hunt. The hunt in question, in a small Pennsylvania town, involves missing children, and a history of child disappearances going back to the early nineteenth century.
Something has its teeth sunk deep in the town, and maybe sunk deep in Dean too, who’s troubled by a sense of déjà vu. Castiel, all too human, is troubled by half-buried angelic memories as well, some useful, and some painful and likely to be potentially crippling at just the wrong, dangerous, moment.
