Deity Complex comic sans WIP Intro!!!!

Now y’all know why I haven’t been on here in a few days haha 😅

But yes, it’s finally here!!!! The official intro for Deity Complex!!! I’ll probably be posting the portraits individually on my new art blog in the next couple days :D

Also, once again, shout out to @rhikasa and their lovely ask from last FAF that sparked the conspiracy theory plotline, and subsequently sparked an increased urgency to get this presentation done :D Thank you so much!!!! Everyone, go follow them, they’re awesome!!!!

The carnies are here! Quiver in fear!

A good hour or two passed. Upon Yoite Kasai's mention of it, a group of carnies in various clown costumes danced around the carousel! Their laughter fell upon the ears of every student in the area as they arrived. One of them, a clown with a sad expression, turned the carousel off. Even as one event ended, a new event was about to begin! After all, they were at a carnival. Could the 'fun' really end there?! As soon as the ride stopped, the carnies began to uncuff those who were still on the ride. To those who weren't cuffed any longer however, the carnies felt the need to antagonize them! Do you really think you could escape without their notice? You're the special guests, after all! Everyone has their eye on you! Those few who managed to escape the carousel prematurely received envelopes that had 'Loser' written in blood red ink.  As for those cuffed, they received an enveloped that had the words 'winner' written in blood red ink. What the hell separated the two, exactly? Winners and Losers of what? If you asked a carnies, they might answer, but of course, they could also be lying. Could you take a bunch of crazy antagonizing carnies that seriously?  Regardless of 'winner' or 'loser' status, you find a pair of keys labeled 'bedrooms', as well as your electronic student id card from Hope's Peak. The only difference of course, is that these now have nothing but the carnival rules:  1) You will not be permitted to leave.  2) The only way one could leave is if you successfully become a carnie yourself, or kill another student without issue 3) You may notice that something precious to you is lost. Do not be alarmed! It is missing because you haven't earned it yet, but your things are safely in our possession.  4) We have cut off all forms of communication. Don't even try to ask for help.  5) More rules may apply.  The carnies were there still, displaying different expressions each. They would have more instruction, but good luck having a serious conversation with them.  And now everything has really started, more or less! Another event should come shortly. If you wish to address any carnie, please send an ask to the ask box. We will get to it shortly. Please write an open, reacting to this event, but do not reblog this. And yes: You may continue current threads.

What is it now...!? (OPEN)

Feeling disoriented, Matthew snapped awake when his head hit the pole in front of him as his body spasmed awake. He realized quickly that one of his arms was attached to what seemingly was a pole attached to the carousel horse he was riding on. For Matthew, this wouldn't have been the first time he was stuck in a similar predicament in an unfamiliar place feeling like he was having a concussion. Unimpressed, he grunts loudly and says "FUCK" as he tries to yank with all his force the handcuff lose from the pole. He didn't succeed the first time. He sat there, and looked around. Since he could only see out of his left eye he freaked out momentarily when he felt his sides. He then felt and realized he still had his knife to his side still.

He looked around and realized that there were others in a similar situation as him. The lights were bright, and rightly they gave him a headache. Although, his thoughts, he didnt really care at the moment about the others. As a child growing up until this point, he never really socialized with others, especially with people he doesn't even know. So he wouldnt even know how to begin socializing with the others. Last thing he knew was that he was offered a place in an academy. He was excited about it. He always had a passion for learning. But, all he remembered was hearing the good news about getting into the school. Now here he was, handcuffed to a pole on a carosel with a bunch of young looking people near his age. He realized that one of his pockets was bulging, he reached in and pulled out a ticket. It read "Your sin: Lust. How exactly will this sin effect you at this carnival?" With an aggravated expression on his face, he crumpled up the ticket and threw it on the ground. He bellowed "What the fuck is this. Saying my sin is lust. You dont know me whoever you are. You better watch out"

He jerked really hard with all of his strength. As a rugby player and track player as well as alligator wrestler standing a a height of 6 ft 3 at 205 pounds he had a lot of force behind him. Even while his wrist ached a little, he had trained them in his years as a star rugby player to  he become strenghted against these types of things. He had been in many fights in his life, but he was rightly ticked off at this moment. Although, he was not blanentely angry, his anger welled up inside of him. He screamed "FUCK THIS" As he said that he channeled all of his strength into it and yanked the pole up out of its socket as it bent and snapped in the middle to release his wrist with the cuffs still attached. With that in mind, he grabbed his knife from its holster and unlocked the cuff away from his wrist. He stood up off of the horse, rolled up his jacket cuffs which revealed his tattoos and scars and walked a few steps away from the horse he was on. He put on a stern face, but he was now beginning to calm down as he looked around and saw people moving about.
