ruffling through cardboard boxes belonging to natalie logue in the attic, in look for an old spell/music book of hers, john found a bag of toys.

he couldn’t stand children, little brats who thought his magic was just for fun and games, just like astra did with that muting spell, patronizing! he was an artist, he danced with his muses and created wonderful paintings out of the steps.

but toys, he loved toys. after astra passed, natalie gave all her toys to him, just to give him a reminder. and once ever blue moon and look at them and wish they brought him the comfort they did to that little girl as she faded away from earth and down into hell.
