    “Er--hello, father...? Why do you act so surprised to see me?” Being so far from their home region aside, of course, but they still weren’t completely sure how that happened.

“No! Don’t! Please don’t throw me away! FATHEEEEERR!!”

How long had it been since that horrible event? To the young one it seemed like a bad nightmare. The only things telling her that this was reality were the burning pain in her arm and the void that surrounded her.

So different from the Hall of Origin.

She had given up trying to get out. The portal that placed her here disappeared as soon as she landed, and she couldn’t find any way back home. Because that’s where she should be; with Father and her siblings. 

Why would Father do this to her? Did she do something wrong? But then, He would have told her about it and scold her before giving her a pat on the head, wouldn’t He?

He didn’t even heal the bite on her arm - it still burned with intense pain. That made her cry out again. It hurt! Everything hurt, and she just wanted it to stop-! Why did it hurt so much? 

She collapsed eventually, the pain becoming too much for her. As her vision darkened, she still thought she could see her Father’s loving smile. Her siblings...and all the friends she had made, too.

I want to see them again! I don’t want to be alone!

And then...her mind went blank.

With a gasp, Giratina woke up. The first thing she saw was void - an endless array of darkness and clouds. 

Slowly, she got up and slowly looked herself over. It....didn’t hurt anymore. How long was she asleep? Nothing hurt.

And that blackness on her arm...that was gone too. What was that?

“I’m....I’m still...?”

What was she questioning? The fact that she was still here, or the fact that she was still alive? What was it that had bitten her, anyway? 

When she checked on her arm, her eyes widened when she saw it. There was a scar in the shape of the bite marks. The skin was otherwise delicate and pale...but there was a ring of dark red that looked like teeth marks. 

For some reason..looking at that scar hurt. Because, really...it healed by itself. Father wasn’t here to heal it for her, to tell her that it’ll be okay. Was it really going to be?

The ambiguity of it all made her cry even more.
