It’s a lot to come back from. And he’s well aware there are some things that you can’t come back from. These days people do horrible things all the time. He’s done horrible things. And he knows that he’s done WRONG. He can’t explain his actions. He wishes he could. Maybe he can if he tries hard enough but he doesn’t want to seem weak. Weakness gets you killed, especially in this world. There’s something in him that’s just not RIGHT. His head hasn’t been on straight since Sarah passed and things only got muddier after the outbreak. “I know...I...I know that.” And he does. Maybe it’s unfixable. Maybe she’s right. “Just...tell me what I’ve gotta do...tell me what to do.” Because he doesn’t know. He always had the answers in Woodbury but it was all a facade and that front has burned away with the town.
