Disney Housing Event-
Bayou Scavenger Hunt
Today I decided to attend a scavenger hunt. This took place at River Roost meeting grounds for the DCP housing event. Of course, due to the name it was a hunt through PO French Quarter and Riverside! I had so much fun and I met some new friends along the way! I’m thankful I went to this event because if I didn’t I would’ve not met these great gal 👯 pals!!
Disney Day
July 3rd 1:30 am
After my glorious American fueled time at Magic Kingdom, I made my way back to Coronado Springs. I had a CM stay at Disney’s Gran Destino Tower! It was absolutely beautiful and jaw dropping. The hand 🤚 touched artwork- the painting of Dahlia and Dali on one side of the LL (lower lobby) verses the painting of Walt and Mickey really capture the Disney Spirit. The hand placed mosaic behind the Barcelona Lounge at every angle when the sunlight touches it is spectacular.
The Towers theme comes from a movie made by Walt Disney and Salvador Dali. The lobby bar called Barcelona Lounge was where I stayed for most of my time 🤣🤷🏻♀️
Traditions 🏰🥳
Friday it’s 5:00 am.
I woke up, had breakfast and flat ironed my hair.
I made my face up and looked nice- boarded the bus at 9:10 am. Met some very nice girls.
The bus drove to the backside of Cinderella’s castle 🏰- there are gardens and lucious landscapes filled with flowers 🌸 . There is also a school, where Mickey and all his friends attend.
At 12:45 we arrived at Disney University. The theme of the building was pure Disney Magic. I honestly cried a little when we arrived.
I recieved my traditions packet and met 3 lovely new friends.

A red box was in the middle of our table but we couldn’t open it until we were told to. Ooooo.
I won’t spoil too much- However at the end I became a cast member to a wonderful family. I am so proud and grateful for this wonderful opportunity- plus I have some big ears to fill!

Disney Day 2
Today I woke up at 7 am and decided to go out for a light jog before breakfast at the Mara at DAKL- Animal Kingdom Lodge with my mom. I had 3 Mickey waffles and fruit. After bresakfadt we took a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We have been walking around and taking pictures- before lunch we watch 3D Muppet Vision which is my favorite! We stopped to eat at Pizze Rizzo-
I had the antipasto salad and my mom had the kids pizza! The food was very good.
Next we stopped at Baseline Taphouse for some Space Ace Blood Orange Cider and Bourbon and coke; we’ve been sitting here ever since- 3:00. Nice music a little bit of a breeze just perfect!
After walking around Hollywood Studios my mom and I took a bus to Coranado Springs to look at my location for my FA DCP. I talked to a lovely merchandise manager named Andrea, who was incredibly nice- and she let me know I could stop in to talk whenever.
Disney’s Coranado Springs is linked with a new hotel which is the Tower Destino. The theme of the Coranado Springs is Spanish-esque style, very upscale.
Whistle While You Wait- Where to Live?
Well Since I have approx. 29 days until I start my DCP FA 2019, I can think of what housing complex I’d like to live in! From the previous post, I talked about housing complexes, listed what was near them and what the pros of each complex were.

I’m going to Disney World!
I joined Tumblr again specifically because I have FINALLY gotten accepted into the DCP after trying THREE TIMES!
I’ll be working Costume Shop Operations for the Fall Advantage 2017 portion of the program. I am SUPER excited to graduate and put my degree to use right out of college!
I may be looking for a roommate since the gal I intend on rooming with hasn’t gotten her acceptance just yet, but we may very well be looking for apartment mates. :)
A little about me: I’m 24 and will be 25 this year. I am a self-proclaimed Crazy Cat Lady! I’m also really into fitness and eating healthy. I am a graduating this Spring 2017 with a Theatre Performance degree. I am very clean and usually like to keep things low-key. I really enjoy cooking and baking (especially for other people). My pet peeves include people who are unwilling to communicate issues (large or small), disrespecting others, and those who are unwilling to see situations in other perspectives. Moral of the story, so long as you’re clean and willing to communicate, we’ll get along fine. :)
