The Day Before Hurricane Dorian
I decided to hop over to Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The park was absolutely bare, not a sole in sight. I got to stroll in a park with no crowds and it was great! I also took some amazing photos as well.

Mickeys Not So Scary 8-23-19
I attended my first MNSSHP with my best friend Alison. This was my first one of 2019, and it had a brand new fireworks show called Mickeys Not So Spooky Spectacular, which was amazing!
Alison and I took many selfies of us looking rotten to the core. We trick or treated down Main Street USA and rode the rides.
We also watched the Boo to You parade as well. Well until next time- TTFN.
Disney Housing Event-
Bayou Scavenger Hunt
Today I decided to attend a scavenger hunt. This took place at River Roost meeting grounds for the DCP housing event. Of course, due to the name it was a hunt through PO French Quarter and Riverside! I had so much fun and I met some new friends along the way! I’m thankful I went to this event because if I didn’t I would’ve not met these great gal 👯 pals!!
Disney Day
July 3rd 1:30 am
After my glorious American fueled time at Magic Kingdom, I made my way back to Coronado Springs. I had a CM stay at Disney’s Gran Destino Tower! It was absolutely beautiful and jaw dropping. The hand 🤚 touched artwork- the painting of Dahlia and Dali on one side of the LL (lower lobby) verses the painting of Walt and Mickey really capture the Disney Spirit. The hand placed mosaic behind the Barcelona Lounge at every angle when the sunlight touches it is spectacular.
The Towers theme comes from a movie made by Walt Disney and Salvador Dali. The lobby bar called Barcelona Lounge was where I stayed for most of my time 🤣🤷🏻♀️

July 3rd. 2019
Today, I had my CC class from 2-4:30pm at DU. I got myself a Tony’s Reservation for one in Magic Kingdom. I ate the most amazing spaghetti 🍝 and sausage, plus marinara on the side. I ordered a 5oz pour of some very fancy wine and stuffed myself literally- 🤪😂.
Later in the evening, I met my friend Maddie to whoop it up at MK for fireworks and DJ dance parties. 🥳🤩
The DJ at Adventurland was LIT all night- plus who doesn’t enjoy American themed fireworks to end the night!

Tuesday June 11th
I woke up at 7 am, ate breakfast and flatiron my hair. I got dressed and packed my lunch. At 8:20 I left and proceeded to the Chatham Square bus stop to catch the K1 bus.

Not sure what we’re doing today however I know it will be fun. It will probably make me cry- which isn’t surprising, and it will be a great experience.
Disney Day 4
Wednesday - June 5th
Today my mom and I headed to Publix to buy my groceries. We also stopped at Magic Kingdom and Polynesian for their new key lime dole whip!
The key lime dole whip is absolutely amazing- it’s tart and sour and is refreshing.

Saturday June 8th
I woke up at 6:30 am. I ate breakfast which consisted of yogurt, some toast, and some fresh fruit. I walked to the Commons bus stop where I got on the DU bus which was A or B. This class was from 8:00-16:30. After that class, I had a hospitality class from 16:30-18-30.
Well that’s all I have for now so, TTFN.
Traditions 🏰🥳
Friday it’s 5:00 am.
I woke up, had breakfast and flat ironed my hair.
I made my face up and looked nice- boarded the bus at 9:10 am. Met some very nice girls.
The bus drove to the backside of Cinderella’s castle 🏰- there are gardens and lucious landscapes filled with flowers 🌸 . There is also a school, where Mickey and all his friends attend.
At 12:45 we arrived at Disney University. The theme of the building was pure Disney Magic. I honestly cried a little when we arrived.
I recieved my traditions packet and met 3 lovely new friends.

A red box was in the middle of our table but we couldn’t open it until we were told to. Ooooo.
I won’t spoil too much- However at the end I became a cast member to a wonderful family. I am so proud and grateful for this wonderful opportunity- plus I have some big ears to fill!

Disney Day 3
This morning I woke up at 8:30 am, showered, got dressed and headed to breakfast at 9:00 am to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I had the kids Mickey waffles and my mom had some as well! After breakfast we drove to Winter Garden, FL about a 15 minute drive from DAKL. We stopped at Marshals, Ulta, Target, and HomeGoods.
This Target is a Super Target which is great because it has more options on everything- I think we spent about $450 here.
At 1:00 my mom and I drove back to DAKL, to eat lunch at the Mara! I had a burger and fries and so did my mom!
Disney Day 2
Today I woke up at 7 am and decided to go out for a light jog before breakfast at the Mara at DAKL- Animal Kingdom Lodge with my mom. I had 3 Mickey waffles and fruit. After bresakfadt we took a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We have been walking around and taking pictures- before lunch we watch 3D Muppet Vision which is my favorite! We stopped to eat at Pizze Rizzo-
I had the antipasto salad and my mom had the kids pizza! The food was very good.
Next we stopped at Baseline Taphouse for some Space Ace Blood Orange Cider and Bourbon and coke; we’ve been sitting here ever since- 3:00. Nice music a little bit of a breeze just perfect!
After walking around Hollywood Studios my mom and I took a bus to Coranado Springs to look at my location for my FA DCP. I talked to a lovely merchandise manager named Andrea, who was incredibly nice- and she let me know I could stop in to talk whenever.
Disney’s Coranado Springs is linked with a new hotel which is the Tower Destino. The theme of the Coranado Springs is Spanish-esque style, very upscale.
Disney World Day 1
Yesterday, I woke up at 2:30 am to board a flight at 5:45 am out of Indiana to Orlando, FL. My mom and I boarded the Disney’s Magical Express bus to our hotel- which is Disney’s Pop Century.
Upon arriving to Pop, my mom and I took a shuttle to Alamo to pick up our rental Car. We got our rental car and drove to Target, Dollar Store, Bass Pro Shop, and Walmart. The target we went to was in Davenport, FL-
From our location it took us 15 minutes to get there- I bought a pillow, my mattress pad, a hamper, some storage cubes, a clip on lamp, my shampoo and conditioner here. The total was $200- Target. Next we stopped at the Dollar Store to buy all my cleaning supplies- this was roughly $54. After the Dollar Tree we went to Cabela’s to purchase a rain poncho for the spontaneous rain showers here in Florida!
We ended our shopping trip at 3pm. Arriving back to POP to change and head to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! We arrived at the park hungry and sweaty!
My mom and I ate at Flame Tree Barbeque which has ribs, a 1/2 a chicken, and a chicken salad option. I bought the 1/2 chicken with a side of fries and shared it with my mom.
After lunch we walked back to Kilimanjaro Safaris. Where we spotted a bloat of hippos and got stuck in a giraffic jam, and finished up the tour with the gentle giants of the safari- elephants!
Next we walked around the park and took some photos. Around 8pm we saw the new River of Lights show- this new show features the title “We are One” from Disney’s the LionKing. This was my first time seeing the new rendition and I absolutely loved it!

Organization Ideas with Roommates or Living Alone
So I know my 1 bedroom 1 person apartment is going to be small. However I do know that I love organization- and here are my thoughts on organizing your apartment entryway!
Command Center
What is needed for a command center? A command center is a little area near your main door or somewhere on the wall in your apartment. This is the place where you will have a bulletin board where you can post either grocery lists or important information for the rest of your roommates. This is also the place where you could keep binders of important documents like bills and monthly chore sheets.
Charger Station/ Important Necessities
This is the place where you will drop your keys, ID for work, sunglasses, phones right when you get done from work. (I misplace a lot of these things because i currently don’t have a command center or charging station.)
What does a charging station have?
Phones, tablets, and laptops all plugged into a central location where they are easy to find if you need them
Battery packs and charging cords
Wall Calendar or Planner?
Well since I am very organized, I would like to have a wall calendar and a planner. First the planner can go where i go. Second the wall calendar is a great idea to have to write down important dates, classes, and is easily removable!
