I was at Wollaston Beach Quincy MA on 6.16.23 and spotted a small bird called a Piping Plover nesting near the end of the beach where the Squantum Yacht Club is located. The birds are an endangered species as noted in the sign that is posted at the other end of the beach. The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) has put up temporary fencing at one end of the beach to protect the birds during there nesting season. 📷
