The Five Snoring Generals
Dr Stone x Reader
Synopsis: Late one night you can't seem to fall asleep because the man peacefully resting beside you is keeping you awake with his bedtime antics
Word Count: 2,100 (around 400 each)
Asagiri Gen
You wake slowly, half-conscious, because something feels off. The night is quiet, the fire long burned down, and the air is cool against your skin. Then you hear it. Gen’s voice, soft and deliberate, murmuring right beside you.
“…no, that’s not convincing enough…”
Your eyes flutter open. The moonlight catches his face, relaxed and unguarded, lips moving just enough to form words. His brows knit together slightly, as if he is deeply concentrating. You hold your breath, afraid to interrupt whatever strange performance is happening inside his head.
“…if I smile there, they’ll believe it…”
You swallow back a laugh. He sounds exactly like himself. Even unconscious, Gen is plotting, rehearsing, manipulating invisible audiences.
You shift just a little, the bed creaking faintly beneath you. He hums in response, a thoughtful sound, then exhales.
“…humans really are easy…”
A quiet snore follows. It is light, almost polite, barely audible. You think it is over until he suddenly mumbles again, clearer than before.
“…don’t trust him…”
Your heart jumps. You turn toward him, studying his face for any sign of awareness. His eyes remain shut, lashes still, mouth slightly open. One arm slides lazily around your waist as he rolls closer, instinctively seeking warmth.
The snoring resumes, steady and gentle.
You lie awake long after, torn between amusement and mild concern. Sleeping beside Gen feels less like resting and more like being trapped in a psychological thriller that never fully shuts off.
Ryusui Nanami
Ryusui falls asleep fast. Too fast. One minute he is talking about grand ambitions and impossible dreams, the next his breathing deepens and the bed begins to vibrate beneath you.
The snoring is immediate and powerful. Each breath rumbles through his chest and into your side, loud and confident, as if he is announcing his presence to the entire camp. You stare at the ceiling, counting the seconds between snores, hoping they might fade.
They do not.
You nudge his shoulder. Nothing. You roll onto your side. The sound somehow gets louder.
Just as you finally start drifting off, the peace shatters.
“I’ll take it all!”
You jolt upright, heart racing. Ryusui shifts slightly, one hand twitching, then settles again. His snoring resumes as if he never shouted at all.
You stare at him in disbelief, your pulse still pounding in your ears.
Minutes later, it happens again.
“Full speed ahead!”
You clap a hand over his mouth on instinct. The sound muffles briefly before he turns his head away and continues snoring freely, completely unbothered.
By the time morning comes, your eyes are heavy and your patience gone. Ryusui stretches with a satisfied grin and glances at you.
“Morning. You sleep well?”
You seriously consider suffocating him with your pillow.
Chrome
Chrome snores so loudly, so violently, that you're pretty sure it's shaking the house.
Chrome’s snoring starts the moment he fully passes out. There is no buildup, no warning. One second he is breathing normally, the next the noise erupts.
It is loud. Painfully loud. Uneven and rattling, like a machine clogged with gravel and desperately trying to function anyway.
You lie frozen, eyes wide, listening in horror.
SNORRRRKK.
The bed vibrates slightly. You turn toward him and see him sprawled out comfortably, mouth open, drool already soaking into the pillow. He looks ridiculously peaceful for someone producing such an awful sound.
You try adjusting his position, gently rolling him onto his side. The snoring changes pitch but somehow becomes worse. You slide a pillow under his head. The sound grows wetter.
At one point, the noise stops completely.
You panic. You lean closer, holding your breath.
Then Chrome inhales.
SNAAAAARRRKKK.
You nearly fall out of bed.
He mumbles something incoherent about science, smacks his lips, and smiles faintly in his sleep. Meanwhile, you stare into the darkness, fully awake, wondering how someone so small can produce such catastrophic noise.
In the morning, he will beam at you and say you look tired. You will say nothing. You will think violent thoughts.
Ukyo Saionji
You wake because something feels wrong. The camp is silent, the night calm, but beside you, Ukyo is completely still.
Too still.
You turn your head to look at him. His chest rises and falls so subtly it is almost imperceptible. No snoring, no shifting, not even a sigh. You squint, trying to tell if his eyes are really closed.
You shift slightly, just enough to test it.
“I’m sorry,” Ukyo whispers instantly. “Did I wake you?”
You blink, startled. He is already halfway upright, concern clear in his voice.
“No,” you whisper back. “I was just moving.”
“Oh.” He relaxes, but only a little. He lies back down carefully, like he is afraid of disturbing the air itself.
Minutes pass. You shift again, trying to get comfortable.
“I’ll stay still,” he murmurs quietly. “I didn’t mean to keep you awake.”
Guilt settles heavy in your chest. You turn toward him and reassure him softly. Eventually, his body relaxes, tension draining from his shoulders.
When he finally falls asleep again, it is impossible to tell. His breathing remains soft and silent, like a secret.
You stay awake longer than necessary, listening carefully, oddly comforted by how close he is even when you cannot hear him at all.
Ishigami Senku
Senku insists he does not snore. You would normally believe him.
As you lie beside him, the night quiet and still, you almost think he is right. His breathing is controlled and even, chest rising and falling with scientific precision.
Then it happens.
A small, barely audible huff of air escapes his nose.
You smile.
You watch him in the dim light, his face relaxed in a way you rarely get to see. His brows are smooth, mouth closed, posture still stubbornly rigid even in sleep.
Another faint snort follows.
You gently poke his side.
“Senku,” you whisper. “You’re snoring.”
He frowns slightly, turns his head, and the sound stops completely. His breathing adjusts as if he consciously corrected it, even while asleep.
You stare at him, half amused and half offended.
Of course even his snoring obeys logic.
You eventually drift back to sleep, the faint rhythm of his breathing grounding you. In a world rebuilt by science and chaos, this is one small, strangely comforting constant.

Surprisingly prepared. He doesn't have any pads or tampons, but you can trust him to get you what you ask for. He will also come back with goodies he thinks will help. Pain killers, heating pad, chocolate.
He's not super caring or lovey dovey. He takes care of you for sure, but he's not going to dote on you in a traditional way.
HOWEVER, he will do something he normally wouldn't do and that is spend even more time cuddled up with you.
He will let you lie on his chest for as long as you like, but he's reading new research papers on his phone(it may or may not be related to how he can help you)
Does not handle the emotional side well. He does his best, but often doesn't know what to say
Yell at him and he just freezes. Will do whatever you say. He's not hurt, just a little lost.
Is not fazed
Ryusui

Has Francois on it immediately. You don't even tell them what you need. They just know
Ryusui is with you as much as possible
He doesn't actually know what is happening with the menstrual cycle. He knows basics but that's it
He will do everything in his power to educate himself on how to better help you
Suggests meals or snacks for Francois to make based on what he learned
SHOWERS you in comfy clothes, blankets, and pillows. You will not be uncomfortable
He is soooo affectionate
Doesn't really get offended easily, so he's not too hurt if you get irritated. He encourages you to talk through it with him
Imports some fancy ahh European chocolates
Ryusui gets you an emotional support stuffed animal EVERY TIME
You end up with a whole collection(completely necessary according to him)
Does not care if you stain the bed. Free bleed for all you like, he has too many sheets as it is
Gen
This man either had sisters or important women at some point in his life
He's not freaked out at all, just kinda takes it as it comes
Lowkey?..... he's rage-baiting you
LOVESSS seeing you get all flustered and irritated omggg(let's you take it out on him if you know what I mean)
If Gen notices you pouting, he will approach you in his sweetest form
THIS MAN KNOWS WHAT TO SAY
Is ready to hand himself over to you. Want to bed rot? He's ready! Need to talk? He's listening! Want to watch a comfort show? He'll get some snacks!
In all seriousness, Gen knows what he's doing. Beyond the rage baiting, he genuinely cares soo much
He either has what you need or will get exactly what you want. Gen knows how to take care of you and what to say.
Gen is like a warm blanket when you're on your period. He knows exactly what to say or do to make you melt
Ukyo
Most patient man alive
Ukyo will cuddle with you for HOURS. He will just lie there, playing with your hair, so content
He's a little nervous. It's not that he hasn't handled this before or doesn't know what to do, he just wants to do it right.
King of "period dates"
If you have something planned, he will cancel anything he needs to and start scheming
Imagine coming home to a fresh sweat set, your favorite meal, and jazz or some kind of music on the speaker
He somehow makes even small moments feel so romantic. He's definitely a domestic partner, so you're no stranger to romantic dates from home
He buys you fresh flowers(Whatever is your fav bc he pays attention)
He will show you as much or as little affection as you need. He's very observant, so he doesn't NEED you to tell him what you like, but he appreciates the confirmation
Tsukasa
He has a sister. He knows the struggle
He definitely needs(but is also open to) direction. Please help him, he is so lost in the feminine hygiene section
Literally will buy you one of everything
He's a "pads should be free" guy. Can you imagine him getting huffy and all pressed about paying for pads? Like, he buys them for you, that's not the issue. He's just mad about it
Lowkey funny to see him get all passionate about free pads. It feels like performative male behavior, but he means it
TSUKASA GIVES FIRE MASSAGES
Just say the word and he's rubbing, and pressing, and soothing whatever muscle is bothering you
He'll gently rub your belly, but omg, his lower back massages are life-changing
He's also very patient and a great listener
Will do whatever you ask of him
Sai
Sai is so NERVYYY
He will not talk about it.
Looks a little sick when he sees blood on the sheets. He leaves the room without saying a word
You get really nervous(and a little insecure), but trust, he comes back with new sheets, a pack of pads or tampons, and offers you his sweats
He is silently acknowledging you. He doesn't want to speak it out loud, but he is def an actions>words kind of guy
He is lowkey desperate to please, but he's not great with words so he just avoids them
Like Senku, he also tracks your period, but he has a program that analyzes it for him. He made it just for you! All he has to do is put in the dates and some of your symptoms for each cycle, and it spits out notifications when your phase is changing and what he can do to accommodate
He is well prepared for your period. Soon after you started dating, he bought some pads, tampons, and ibuprofen just in case.
When he brings you his offerings, like a cat bringing you a bird, you notice something curious
"Is that a vibrator?"
"HUH?!"
He turns bright red. He is literally steaming.
He just went through the feminine hygiene aisle, just grabbing what looked especially different than the rest. He's not too educated on the subject, so he kind of just guessed based on his basic knowledge
He will try and hide from you. You will have to coax him out of his embarrassment

Someone on Twitter commented that while Ryusui missed his lover like crazy, Ukyo missed Francois's cooking even more. So, while Ryusui waited for a romantic reunion, he was left disappointed and with open arms.
