She wasn’t expecting anyone to be out this late at night. She had just been strolling the castle grounds, secretly, of course. Enjoying the moonlight. The moon was a symbol of beauty, after all.
“What are you doing out at such a late hour? Are you not tired after a long day’s work?”

“I expect you to stay indoors during this nasty storm.”
Thunder boomed, quite consistently. The night flashed with lightning. Times like these were when monsters were at their most active, so it was important to stay indoors. She understood his concern, but she didn’t want to risk the safety of a loyal knight. She didn’t want him to go out in this weather. If not a monster, lightning could strike him.
Maybe she worried too much, but she wasn’t going to let it go.
“Certainly there is something more productive to be done in the castle. You always work so hard, why not take a night off? If you cannot take some time to rest during a storm, when can you?”

The many encounters he had with Alm, the saint-king mentioned a couple of time a good lancer in their group--Lukas, if he was correct. Chrom had been meaning to use this opportunity that was given to him to learn more and better himself. Today was his lucky day for he finally met Lukas who was also present in the training grounds. Lucky him! “Hello, Lukas, right?” they may be all in the same army but at times Chrom was not able to meet all the people summoner brings to help them. “Alm told me a great deal about you and I was hoping if we can spar sometime. I’d love to better myself with using lances.” he was good at them but certainly not to the same degree as his sword. “--Ah, apologies! I forgot to introduce myself, I am Chrom.”
"Woah--- Fuck, sorry." Reaching down, she held out her hand to the girl she successfully knocked down on the rush to her trailer.
"I just slipped on ice and fell so hard— but I saved the burritos so we’re good."
He was just naturally happy when she was around. They didn't have the most wonderful, perfect relationship, but he loved her more than anything or anyone in the whole world. He shuffled to the living room to see her scrolling through his phone. "Babe, what're you doing?"
