Monsterfuckers and Horror Fans of Tumblr Assemble for Swamp Thing.
So last night I got to screen the first two episodes of the May 31rst series. Here's proof below
I'm not going to spoil it (because you need to watch it) but OH MY GOD. Derek Meyers (swampy), Andy Bean (alec holland) and crystal reed (abby arcane) are fire. They have chemistry, they are powerful, they are tragic (oh my god do Andy and Crystal have chemistry that carries over to his 'transformation') everybody is bringing their a game. (Also DC Universe is WINNING the lgbtqia relationship game because yes there is queerness)
There's tendrils, there's tentacles, and it's all CANON because this is shape of swamp water and it is just. So. Good.
Traditional comic fans are gonna love this but that's where I need you horror fans and monster fuckers to step up and show out. Trust me, I am one of you and as long as play it cool this is a show that we can OWN. Think The Thing meets Shape of Water.
