cont. ( loosely based ) | [ birth is a curse ]
Elijah had never seen one like him before.
Even though there was no LED on his temple - the former CyberLife CEO could sense it that something was going on with that man. Something that wasn’t entirely… human, perhaps. And whatever he was - he was fascinating.
At least to a man like Elijah Kamski. Who had always been interested in anything non-human.
(Besides animals, like his own cats.)
“Did you experience… birth?”, he asked, genuine interest lingering on his features as he let his blue eyes trail over the other’s form, taking in the sight.
Whatever it was that felt off, it was something he really wanted to get knowledge of.
♞ —- K stood very still under the intense scrutiny. He had initially came here to meet the android creator for an entirely different purpose. In the corner of his vision he followed Kamski’s movement, feeling the man’s eyes trail over his lithe form.
The scrutiny was something he was used to. In all his short existence, humans would often call him some slur and treat him as the other. A ploy ‘to put him back in his place’. To constantly remind him that they have a hold over his existence with their false sense of superiority.
He’s never met his own creator, Niander Wallace, but it would probably feel something like this. Exposed and looked at. Feeling naked even under thick layers of clothing.
“Did you experience… birth?”
To be born is to have a soul I guess.
K couldn’t tell him if he had. His memories could only go back so far. And what’s there are just implants. Fabricated and manufactured.
He gulps before he speaks.
“ I was made, Mr. Kamski. ” he emphasizes on the word ‘made’, but kept his tone soft and mild mannered. Submissive.“ I take it you’ve never seen a Replicant up close before... ”
