eunhae had been shocked when the other told her that they were leaving their baby boys behind for a few days and taking a trip out of the country. she had hardly been away from the twins since their birth, and it was such a strange thought that she would actually be letting her parents care for them. she was both excited and frightened. she had survived the plane ride without panicking about the kids too much but once they had arrived in their hotel room, the first thing she did was text her parents to send her pictures every hour of her boys. yes, maybe she was a little crazy. “i miss them already,” she murmured, her arms snaking around grey’s waist even though she was happy to be here with just him as well. since their relationship had always been a bit strange ( seeing as they hadn’t meant to have kids with each other ... oops ), it was nice to just spend some time with one another.
mara had to hand it to her boyfriend , he really knew how to manipulate their relationship . it wasn’t one that was very public and the fact that they kept it under wraps was a perfect excuse as to why he couldn’t come to this wedding with her . she couldn’t really argue with him on that . evidently the maid of honor couldn’t be alone though , so here mara was , waiting to meet up with her best friend’s brother . she isn’t expecting that when he arrives that he looks like . . . well , he definitely doesn’t remember him looking like that the last time she saw him . sliding the sunglasses on her face down with her finger , mara let out a small scoff of disbelief . “ who are you and what have you done with the lance yoon ? “ she asked . “ you are not the same person i knew six years ago . “
suhwan knew his sister meant well by setting him on a blind date. even at the age of thirty, he had honestly had no interest in dating but his parents were already begging him to settle down and have a child. his career most certainly meant more to him, but well, if this blind date could appease his parents, then by all means, that would be good. he has to admit that his sister’s friend is really pretty and he feels quite out of her league, but well, if she was fine to be here, then he wouldn’t complain.
jisung still couldn’t believe his friends thought it would be a good idea to give him custody of their child with his ex. he loved them dearly, and of course he missed them, but this! how could they subject him to this torture after they were gone? as if that weren’t bad enough already? he’s still thinking about this when the baby screams ... disrupting his thoughts. did the baby also know that life sucked right now? “i’ll get it,” he muttered to himself, slowly dragging himself to where the child was laying and picking the baby up trying to get them to settle down.
kara was officially exhausted. she never thought she had owned much until they were moving and she realized that she had way more than she ever thought. the last of the boxes were moved into their new home as she collapsed down onto the couch. “i can’t do anymore,” she exclaimed, her arms held up towards jianyu in hopes that he would take the cue to come and cuddle with her. it was a bit of a weird feeling leaving their old apartment, but she knew that they wanted to find a new place to properly celebrate their newly married life. nonetheless, she was worried about being in a new neighborhood and in a new space that she’d really have to decorate.
it's not that hannah is regretting agreeing to a date set up by her best friend with her best friend’s brother , it’s just that she’s nervous . she has faith in gemma , that if there wasn’t a chance that lance wasn’t interested in her then she would’ve never done it in the first place . but even with that knowledge , she had overthought everything : her floor was a mess of clothing , phone now full of mirror selfies that she’d taken to ask for gemma’s opinion on only to change anyways . not only that , but she’d ended up getting to the gardens early , having left far too soon in fear of being late . “ hey ! “ hannah waved as she called out to lance , moving to meet him . “ i’m really excited , “ -- nervous . “ to come here ! i haven’t been to a botanical garden in forever . thank you for agreeing to go out with me . “
