DCZF Spotlight: Kaila Bell
Nun Comix is the name for Kaila’s (mostly) autobiographical comic zines. She draws scenes and stories from everyday life, with a special focus on lgbtqa issues, (a lack of) fitness, and living with anxiety. Her most recent book, Someone's in the Kitchen with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is half foodie zine and half self-help. She hopes to make people laugh but also find something to relate to.
DCZF Spotlight: Jenny and the Librarians
JC is a zinester and a librarian who writes about disability and mental health. Tributaries is about her experiences related to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and Collide is a compilation zine on the intersection of physical and mental illness.

DCZF Spotlight: Red Sweater Zine Collective
The Red Sweater Zine Collective promotes, distributes, and gushes about rad zines and handmade goodies from artists and writers across the country. They spotlight zinesters who can't get to zinefests due to cost, logistics, or other factors. They also love to spotlight creators who are new to zines! Some of their highlights include zines about aging, mental health, the joy of dance, and even a few itty bitty zines to say I Love You or I'm Sorry.
