my fav ep of this season yet! man, the karedevil content this ep was *chefs kissss*! karen calling matt hot to heather GAGGED me. that entire scene between heather and karen was one of the best of the show, just pure ENERGY! i can't wait for the finale!

A brief review of DDBA S2E7 (no spoilers)

As I said for ep6 - same issue again: too many characters, too little time.

I’m happy to see familiar faces, but this is not how cameos should work. Nothing gets properly developed. No space for the main characters to breathe.

It honestly doesn’t feel like I’m watching a show; it feels like I’m watching an OUTLINE of one.

Something happens → Matt reacts → cut.

Another thing happens → Matt reacts → cut again.

But what does he actually want? What’s his plan? His internal conflict? His dynamic with old friends?

We’re left filling in the blanks ourselves.

And the editing… don’t even get me started.

We can’t even get a full, uninterrupted 2-minute scene of Matt praying?? Really??

And now there’s ONE episode left, with all of this still hanging:

Matt (possibly) in jail, Karen (probably) needing rescue, Fisk’s endgame, Heather/Muse, Jessica, Buck, BB, Angela, Charles(?), Dex going rogue… and maybe Frank showing up again for 1 second before The Last Kill??

How are they fitting all of that into one episode??

So yeah…

Bingo update after Daredevil: Born Again 2x07

Ongoing bingo saga for this season continues.

I am so close to a bingo in a couple of directions but the likelihood of any of them paying off by the end of the season finale next week is looking increasingly unlikely.

Did get to give myself my "Matt works a pro bono case" though, because of him coming forward to work on being co-counsel for Karen. There was no way he was being paid for that.

But I may have sworn when Matt started praying in church. As you can see, I need him to go to confession 😭
