Because Trunks' mind kept going back to the Trunks Cell killed to come to the MainTimeline, she was restless for a while. After the Cell Games and with the coordinates to New Namek, she decides to postpone her return home to use his time machine and go to resurrect him.
Gohan and Krillin accompagny her on the trip. After all of the travel shenanigans and once everyone is back at (787) capsule corp, she ends up falling asleep with kid Gohan against her older counterpart.
