Some footage of an antlion feeding I got with a microscope. I kept some of these as pets but sadly missed them emerging from their cocoons.

In the video it actually drops the ant it’s injecting digestive juices into and then frantically searches for it. What a cutie <3

The end has the best footage, it shakes off a bit of the dirt and you can see the head really well

One time i saw a dead katydid lying on concrete and a wasp that was only a fraction of its size stole its gigantic leg like a trophy.

This cicada molted, climbed up one of our cages, and then died standing up. Guess something went wrong with the molt, but I mean she’s in great condition. So now she’s mine, I guess.
