daily bug 29

bug 29 features one of, if not my favorite insect my collection; a cicada! I found this one's whole body in tact during July or august. Richmond VA

Beautiful six-spotted tiger beetle (Cicindela sexguttata) crossed my path while I was swimming in the local river. They stopped just long enough for a photo. <3 Look at that toothy face!
