Hello Americans. Sorry, “Howdy”.

Here’s the thing - thanks to the haunted satsuma who rules over you, we will shortly be forced to stop selling directly to the USA. 

On August 29th, the de minimis exemptions will be eliminated, meaning any commercial mail going from the UK (where we are) to the US will now be subject to heavy tariffs and duty costs, that make it unfeasible to carry on - we’ve left the decision late in case old cheeto dick TACO’d out of it, but it looks like it’s going ahead.

We know, it’s a big old kick in the balls for us and hundreds of other small businesses in the UK - but unless you’re all happy to pay $80 for a greeting card, we just don’t see how we can  move forward. 

We’ll still be trading in the rest of the world and are looking into alternative fulfilment for the USA in the future, if we find anything that works, we will let you know.

SO! Basically, if you’re in America, you’ve got until 28th August (less than TEN DAYS) to grab one of our snarky vintage greeting cards.

Not sure why, but this Donald Trump one seemed apt and due to demand last year, we ordered a whole bunch of these, so it would be great if we can sell them out before the deadline drops!

We're Dead Fancy and this is one of those awkward introduction posts designed to engage potential customers.

We are supposed to let you know who we are and what we do, where we say words like “ethos” and “vision” like the world isn't on fire and anything even matters anymore.

But anyway, we’re from Yorkshire, in the UK or Totally Normal Island as it's now known and this is me starting my own little business, because frankly I can't go back to working in an office - PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK.

Ahem. So I like to play with kitsch, cute and weird retro public domain images found whilst spending too much time gloomscrolling the internet.
