Hello anon(s), it’s your friendly neighborhood failsauce admin here, logging in for the first time in actual years to say belatedly that no, alas, this game is NOT active any longer. I wish! But I just don’t have the time/mental energy to run a roleplay right now. That said...

I love the idea of there being an Animrophs Roleplay out there (as far as I could tell, this was the first one on tumblr!) and if any of what I have built here helps facilitate someone else in creating and running one, then you absolutely have my blessing to scavenge from it freely!

Ooc -- some serious talk.

Hey guys, I honestly don’t know what to do with this blog anymore. I feel like a lot of my Rp partners have just dropped off and in flow I too have just dropped. The Rp community has changed so much since when I first started about 4 years ago. Everyone is selective, everyone is very pushy about how they like to write and just everything in general and it’s honestly so hard to find people to have genuine good threads with because they get dropped after a few replies. I honestly feel a pull towards certain character and it’s so difficult to find people who will willingly interact with OCs anymore or people to follow because I actively avoid selective blogs because I know they’d never interact with me. I’ve always tried to be good, I always read people’s rules and their bios before interacting, hell sometimes I would message and ask if I could even interact with them and more often than not I got told “oh I’m sorry, I don’t interact with OCs” or “I just don’t see how our characters could interact” like Jesus people what happened to a little imagination? Where’s the fun gone?

I want to interact with Spider-Man’s, Captain Americas, Sharon carters and a hell of a lot more and I want meaningful threads, I want to be able to have a create your own adventure and have the fun brought back but it seems like it’s not going to happen.

I don’t know if I will be continuing this blog.

If you feel the need, message me and we can start something when I next come on here but this is why I have been so inactive lately. Sorry.

It should never have ended. Don’t smile, don’t leave me the impression of when the light shone bright on your pale skin and sorrowful eyes. It took only a few months to drown in these feelings of romance and immortality. How intoxicating you were, and how sad I was to think it would last.

Those days faded into each other, those memories now setting a film over my heart. The day you asked me out, the weekend it took to move my things to your place. Your favorite tracks on the radio, your messy clothing after waking up late for work. That laugh that forced everyone around you to smile. So silly, so heart wrenching.

Sitting in the lobby, watching the doctor from across the glass, breaking the news to you was probably the worst day of my life. Back then, it certainly was. It could never be worse than our fights. Worse than my first miscarriage. Worse than the thought that one day, we would have our last kiss.

Except now that day has passed, and I still remember the time - 2:38 AM - when you were declared gone. I remember your final words.

I’m happy to have known you.

Please. Don’t say it as if there was never hope for us. Don’t smile, as I stand before you, your body lowered into the dirt beneath my feet. Softly, I can feel our daughter kick and squirm. I can feel her sadness at never meeting her father.”
