Goodbye old friend. It’s been a long ride 😥 #deadiron #nomoreironing #howdoesanirondie #whereisanironstore #rowenta #20yearsold
so if anyone likes the band Deadiron ALEXANDER VAN NESS WAS AT MY HOUSE FOR A PARTY COMPLIMENTED MY MUSICAL ABILITY AND HAIR AND I ALMOST DIED
Last night was ranking high on the "worst nights of my life" list, but Deadiron are a bunch of cool dudes who were dedicated to trying to make me laugh and they gave me a free bracelet and they discounted a shirt and I was the first person to buy their new patches that came in that morning ;_;
Check out the our pals in Deadiron gettin' silly and having fun. A very short cameo by yours truly at the 2:51 mark. Deadiron and Friends 4 (by DEADIRONvideos)
Tonight is the big night! Conrats to our buddies in SOLIPSIST for winning day 1!
Tonight.
So this is gonna be a little bit of a longer post.
Tonight was incredible. We gave it our best and we had so many incredible amazing bands to share the stage with. We cannot be any happier about that. Ultimately the winner came down to it being Solipsist. Those dudes deserved it. They've been around for years, they're super talented, they work hard, they rocked it tonight. They most certainly earned their spot on mayhem fest. And I myself am VERY proud of those guys.
I'm also proud of all they guys we shared the stage with tonight. Yeah the boys in Along Came A Spider, Deadiron, The Approach & The Execution are miles away from what we do. That might matter somewhere else. But this is Cleveland fucking Ohio. This is OUR music scene. This is our brotherhood. EVERYONE killed tonight. Whether it be those guys or the awesome dudes in The Dagger Rebellion, This Is A Lifetime, or Days Beneath, every single band tonight was amazing. I'm honored to call this place home. I'm amazed by how awesome these bands we share the stage with are. And I am most certainly blessed to be part of one of the best music scene in the entire world.
Stay metal guys. Keep doing what you do. Don't ever stop. Support you're scene.
Battle For Mayhem Fest.
Now if you follow us on facebook or twitter you should have seen by now how much we've been promoting our show on Friday at Peabody's.
If you haven't heard a rep from Sumerian Records is picking a winner from each day to play the Sumerian Records stage on the Ohio date of Mayhem Fest. Obviously it's a huge chance for us, but it's just as huge of a chance for every band on each day. It's Cleveland's chance to put some of it's best out there for the world to see.
If it happens and we win, I will be beyond excited. If we don't win, that's fine by me. Why? Because the Cleveland music scene is more than a bunch of bands, it's a brotherhood. I know that whoever wins is an amazing, talented, hardworking band. So I'm going to be excited and proud of my dudes in whatever band. Whoever wins will have deserved it, and from talking with multiple people in bands playing these dates the feeling is pretty mutual. That's why I love this scene so much.
So do us a favor. Buy a ticket and come out. Support not only us, but every other hard working band on this show. It would certainly mean the world to us, and to the other bands on the show. I can't really speak for them too much, but if they're anything like me every person there who supports us really makes us feel good about what we do.
Ultimately, support your scene. If you can't make it to the show, tell your friends. If you live miles away then just check out all the bands.
Thanks for taking the time to read this guys. Our fans make what we do so much fun, and we cannot thank you guys enough for all the support.
