rambling why i think lash and ivy are the best pairing in deadlock don't mind me Their personalities fit really well together Lash is a loud childish asshole celebrity that can't keep his mouth shut and has a massive ego and revels in the fame his career but is surprisingly a morally decent person. On the other hand Ivy is a kind hearted socially anxious vigilante that has a strong sense of morality and is too humble for her own good, trying to reject the goodwill and fame her vigilante work has brought her. This leads to them having contrasting personalities but plenty of common ground for them to connect with like both of them being enemies of the mob boss Mendoza and their lives putting them in similar circles. Ivy's war with Mendoza also leads to Lash having a lot of respect for her as said in their zipline conversations that play at the start of the game and even in their other interactions Lash maintains this. Currently in development is a visual novel where Ivy is the protagonist, one of the routes leads her to meeting Lash while he acts dismissive at first, after a group of Mendoza's thugs make them fight together he begins to respect her (even audibly checking her out lol), unfortunately that's all we have of Lash's involvement in her story so far but it paints a picture of how Lash feels about her. Ivy feels more conflicted on Lash, most of her lines being confused or intrigued by his eccentricities, like being shocked he isn't being an asshole to her despite what others have said about him. Lash has some interest in her with his "Oooh~ I like you SweetWings", line from Ivy's novel I could see Lash being infatuated by her kindness and steadfast nature despite how lost she feels in life and all the pressure that comes from being a vigilante. Ivy could notice how despite Lash being well The Lash he still deep down is a good guy, not being tainted by bribes, donating to children, willing to help her fight Mendoza head on and she'd want to bring out that deeper sense of kindness in him or is simpler terms, she'd be an "I can fix him" girlie. And i really think she could bring out that good in him. There's also something that can be done with both of them being famous while they have completely opposite reactions to said fame, Lash loving it while Ivy is hesitant to feel good about it. In my opinion Lashvy is one of the strongest ships in deadlock and im a little sad it's fallen to the wayside as the game has grown. All in all i think Ivy's VN should end with them kissing sloppy style.
