Book Review: Deadly Curious by Cindy Anstey

Book Review: 

This book was alright. I typically enjoy murder mysteries, especially set during the Victorian Era so I was excited to give this one a try. 

It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t a huge letdown either. I thought the mystery itself was fun and intriguing, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the characters. The entire book felt a little childish for my taste (I have no idea why, it just felt that way) and I felt myself skimming through most bits in it. I just wanted to see how it unfolded (the mystery itself) and didn’t seem to care about the romance of it either. 

This just wasn’t the book for me, which is fine! I know some people will enjoy it, especially anyone who isn’t a huge fan of gruesome and dark murder mysteries. I thought this was an okay book, I just didn’t love it.
