Little Blue was tired after her long training. Blue is deaf and blind in one eye. Her pet parents wanted to teach her commands and be able to have her come to them when off leash but didn’t know where to start. I’ve worked with many impaired pups over the years and they can learn commands just as well as any other dog, through hand signals and touch signals. We worked with a vibration collar for recall training to get her attention. She did excellent. Yup, we're THOSE people now - the people who fall in love with their dog and then talk non-stop about how much they love their dog. ☺️ The thing is, when you adopt, you save the life of a dog (or any animal or child) and give them a whole new opportunity to flourish. When we first saw Ginny (who we have named Jude) we knew she was meant for us. Going through the adoption process with @hear_no_evil_australia was smooth, seamless, and extremely nerve-wracking. All we wanted was for things to go well so we could bring home our new fur-baby..... and guess what?
