Lifetime limits?
I just talked to my insurance company and everything I thought about my coverage has not been right. I found out I have a $5,000 lifetime limit of fertility meds and a $10,000 lifetime limit on procedures. I was in a total panic since our next treatment is a bunch of shots... I cannot get anyone at CVS Caremark to tell me where I am at in my limit.
Some idiot just said “if you haven’t been rejected then you haven’t hit your limit”. Really? How am I supposed to plan with that information?
So I say to my husband “If this is going to blow my medication limit then why not go right to IVF? His response is to try the shots for one or two months (depending on costs) to see if that works since it will be our cheaper option.
I instantly doubt anything BUT IVF will work, since natural and Femara did nothing and I get mad at him for even suggesting more medication and trying which will eat away at my meds for IVF which will ultimately end up costing us money. ???
How pissed will I be at these cycles for not working??
