Rescue Special [H]Ops
I'm sorry but why Dean Gallagher from Rescue Special Ops be looking like Rumplestiltskin from Shrek 3????
DEAN GALLAGHER
10/16/16, 11:47 PM
Found by police in his living room alongside the bodies of girlfriend Jersey Madden and friend Xavion Bloodworth. Cause of death was the impact of a self-detonating pipe bomb that had been thrown into the house while the three were inside.

“Somewhere between happy, and total fucking wreck feet sometimes on solid ground, sometimes at the edge. To spend your waking moments, simply killing times to give up on your hopes and dreams, to give up on your life”
With fourteen residents in the Gallagher’s two floor, three bedroom household — more than half of the house sectioned off by curtains to house the many children and give as much privacy as possible (which is hardly any) — one would think that life would be hard for even the thickest skinned person. This most certainly was the case for fourth born Dean Gallagher, who constantly felt as if he was scraping off the bottom of life just to make himself visible.
Even though Dean wasn’t the oldest sibling, he was an older brother to someone in the family, ultimately laying out the expectation that he had to be a role model to the eight little ones below him. To Dean, the idea of this wasn’t glamorous whatsoever, given the fact that he was following close behind his — what he tends to call— can’t-do-wrong siblings. With their shining personalities, glowing futures — let’s not forget glowing report cards — Dean convinced himself he was set up for parental disappointment and was in no shape to be a role model.
When Dean entered elementary school the seal of disappointment was officially stamped; otherwise known as the pivotal moment that he met his best friend to this day, Cody Madden. Somehow during the first days of the school year, Dean ended up stuck to Cody Madden — literally stuck, they glued their shirts together together somehow — and they spent every day since then practically inseparable. The boys bonded over comics, the utter distaste for girls, and Saturday morning cartoons; without even knowing it, they were slowly creating a recipe for disaster. And of course, it all came full circle by the end of their elementary school careers, when the two boys were held back from graduating.
The idea of being held back never really bothered Dean, instead, he chose to shrug it off, move on, grow up and live life as is, figuring that one day in the future he wasn’t going to need school when he became a comic book artist. With this thought in the back of his mind, Dean continued to slack off in school, doodling in his notebooks instead of taking notes, and plotting an entire franchise with Cody instead of firmly grasping the fundamentals of early education. School simply didn’t matter as much to him as it seemed to with Parker and Fiona, and of course that was a concept that Mr. and Mrs.Gallagher could not accept, at such a young age, he was already showing the lack of motivation that most high schoolers have in their senior year.
Of course, Dean’s parents did not agree with this declaration, stating that it was nice that he had an idea of what he wanted to do with his life, but it’s education that is more important. But Dean just couldn’t wrap his mind around the real world, and wanted out of it in the best way possible — the only way he knew how to anyway — so he drew…and drew…and drew. One foot in the fictional comic book world, and another out the door, Dean tried his best to ignore the parental pressure that was pressed on him. directly avoiding all conflict. Dean knew he had disappointed his parents, more and more he became aware of this, and more and more, it made him upset thinking about it. However, desperate to remain his aloof, uncaring self, Dean pretended that he didn’t care, avoiding his parents’ disappointed sighs and sad glances, by spending time at the Maddens.
Things started looking up in the Gallagher household ironically when Dean entered one of the most crucial times of his life: high school.. As early as his freshman year, Dean had identified himself as the stereotypical loner-artsy kid, spending most of his mornings and afternoons at the local Rise and Grind coffee shop, ordering the many types of coffees and desserts and drawing on the cardboard cups there. From just his small hangouts at the coffee shop, Dean had made a name for himself, before he knew it, he was flirting with some of the locals that came in, giving his advice on coffees to buy. Before he knew it, employees recognized him when he came in, sometimes they gave him extra cups for him just to doodle on and leave on display, and eventually they offered him a job there. Seeing that Dean didn’t have much else to do with his life, he decided to accept it, figuring he’d have extra money in his pocket to buy more comic books, CDs, and hair dye.
With a job and money in his hands, Dean quickly took an interest in driving and being able to provide a bit for himself, so as soon he hit the minimum age requirement to take drivers ed, surely enough, Dean was in class, and soon had a permit....then a license in his hands. Now a licensed driver, Dean knew that he wasn’t going to drive around his parents’s station wagon everywhere, seeing as it wasn’t the most attractive car to pick up the ladies in; so with this incentive, Dean saved up enough to pay for his very own motorcycle and a license with it to match. While he was making strides to improving his life from what it once was, Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher obviously did not approve of this decision, viewing it as selfish, however when seeing the look on his eyes when he drove himself too and from school, too and from work, and became less dependent on them, they lightened up on the judgement.
While being the teenage boy that he was, he did, of course, want to partake in sexual activities, and with the wheels and his ‘good looks’ in hand, Dean figured it was a sure-in. However, as Cody seemed to get dates -- even scoring with Fernanda Arbodela -- Dean constantly found himself striking out in one way or another, never liking a girl enough to go that extra step with or even find a girl that he was willing to date. He did want to lose his virginity -- believe me he did -- but he didn’t want it that badly, more than ever he wanted a relationship, someone to talk about comic books with other than his best friend, who he constantly felt himself third-wheeling with him and his girlfriend. However, all the girls he seemed to draw were the same to him: whiny, bratty, spoiled, wanted him to stop being so ‘geeky’ -- not to mention that they probably slept with his older brother, Dallon -- and Dean decided that he didn’t need the drama that came with those types of girls, and didn’t want to put himself out there only to be disappointed.
Giving up on the search, life fell into a bit of a boring routine for Dean: school, work, art, third-wheeling, home, repeat; and no matter what he tried to do, nothing would give his schedule the good shake that it needed to keep life a bit interesting. But of course, things became far less boring when Cody’s social life started to spark up -- most specifically his newfound relationship with Petunia Perkins. While both of the boys relished in the idea of this relationship, Dean knew that it was incredibly wrong, knowing that Cody was cheating on his at the time girlfriend, Fernanda. Not knowing how to confront Cody on how he truly felt about this, and hopefully find a way out of it, Dean turned to Jersey, his little sister; casual conversations began to reveal so much more than a concern for Cody, but an obvious interest in sex, which then translated to one another, before they even knew it, Dean and Jersey had hooked up and made no intentions of stopping.
After the hookup, Dean had several loads of guilt on his chest, first of all, he had collected quite a few of Jersey first under his belt without even batting an eye, all the while playing it off as he was some kind of expert, which was all but true -- let’s not even mention that he had no idea how to tell Cody about this. More than ever, Dean didn’t want to be another disappointment, seeing as he hardly recovered from the parental shame, so he knew that he had to keep both secrets under wraps no matter what the damage was; he felt on top of the world with the secrets -- knowing that he was living the dream -- but buried in a grave, knowing that when Cody found out about this double life, he’d surely find a way to end him.
This fear didn’t keep him away from Jersey however, more and more he found himself spending his time at the Madden household...except this time, his time was more devoted to Jersey. Conversations grew deeper with more meaning, things weren’t quite as physical, but more emotionally driven, and before he knew it -- or could understand why he felt the way he did -- Dean discovered that he had a massive crush on Jersey. Unsure of how to handle the emotions, or even why he was feeling this way about a girl after being shot down by so many over his life, Dean foolishly asked her out in the middle of a performance during Battle of the Bands, thus outing their relationship to everyone...especially Cody.
Cody was all but thrilled to hear that Dean was seeing Jersey behind his back, completely exiling him as a friend, and even physically fighting with him when Dean didn’t seem to get the picture. In attempt to fix their friendship, he attempted to break it off with Jersey, staying away from her for a few days hoping that one of them would get the picture and call it quits...needless to say, it didn’t work; both of them miserable without each other, lonely without friends to talk to, they confided in one another and grew closer than ever, to even booking a room in the Palacios Hotel on New Years Day and losing their virginities together.
Since that moment Dean is still trying to repair his relationship with Cody, who still is not speaking to him. He tries not to be bothered by the fact that his best friend wants nothing to do with him, but chooses to move on, and get his life together before he goes into school. Somehow -- he gives most credit to his now girlfriend Jersey -- Dean managed to get himself in line, moved out of home and living on his own, accepted into New York School of the Arts in New York City, and even holding down a few jobs to pay for it all. After years and years of failing, feeling as if he’ll amount to absolutely nothing, Dean finally feels as if he’s found his place somewhere, and there’s no chance of it changing for a long time.
